This is a guide for The Dark Spirit side quest in Astria Ascending.
Obtained: Speak with Belza after making Kress a Dark Knight
Rewards: Algedi x1, Kress – Dark Knight Token x1, 5,000 Lums
Obtain 5 Corrupted Claws at the Virgo Temple
Defeat the Salamanders in the Virgo Temple to obtain the Corrupted Claws.
Go back to Belza in the Residential Area
Once you’ve collected all 5, return to Belza and speak with her.
Use Consume 10 times
Make sure you know the Consume skill from the Dark Knight Ascension Tree then use it 10 times.
Use Goetry 10 times
Make sure you know the Goetry skill from the Dark Knight Ascension Tree then use it 10 times.
Go back to talk to Belza in the Residential Area
Return to the Residential Area and speak with Belza.
Confront the thief at the Grand Canyon
Next, make your way to the Virgo Temple fast travel point in the Grand Canyon to find the thief standing to the west of the fast travel point. Speaking with him will lead to a fight with just Kress and him. Defeat Sherm. He’s weak to fire, light, air and lightning. He resists earth, water, physical and ice. He also drains dark.
Go back to talk to Belza in the Residential Area
Return to the Residential Area and speak with Belza.
Use the amulet at the Virgo Temple #1
Travel back to the Virgo Temple and head 2 areas west of the entrance to automatically use the amulet.
Use the amulet at the Virgo Temple #2
When looking at the map, head to the most western area to find the second place to use the amulet. It’s a tunnel area with hanging lanterns.
Use the amulet at the Virgo Temple #3
For the third place, it’s at the Room of Loyalty fast travel point. From the fast travel point, head right and cross the wooden bridge. When it falls, fall with it to find the orb at the bottom.
Perform the ritual at the Virgo Temple
From the Room of Loyalty, keep heading east. Eventually, you’ll come to an area that is sealed off with a giant floor switch. Use the earth ring of the Zodiac Ring on the switch to raise the wall then head through to find Bejoq. Speak with him to start a fight. He’s weak to light and air; resists fire, physical and dark; and nullifies earth. He is not susceptible to any status ailments and is level 30.
Go back to talk to Belza in the Residential Area
Return to the Residential Area and speak with Belza to complete the quest.
