This guide is a walkthrough of Chapter XV Chaos Unleashed in Astria Ascending.
Breaking the Seal of Chaos
Ancient Wastelands
Once in the Ancient Wastelands, head east until a cutscene leading to a fight with Chimera triggers. Defeat the Chimera! It’s weak to physical in its first form and resists everything else. In the second form, it’s weak to dark, nullifies air and fire and absorbs light. After the following cutscene, continue heading east until a cutscene triggers again. Afterwards, you’ll need to keep heading east. When you do, you’ll receive a warning that this is the point of no return. If you’d like, now is the time to clean up all the side quests, J-sters and hunts you have left before continuing.
When you’re ready, proceed forward to trigger a cutscene. A fight with Brazer will follow. Defeat him! He’s weak to light, resists fire, nullifies earth and drains dark. Afterwards, a cutscene will trigger and the quest will complete.
