This guide is a walkthrough of Chapter VIII In Pursuit of the Fruitless in Astria Ascending.
Stopping the Fruitless
Arsion
Ride Fedorah to Arsion then make your way to Dagmar’s house to trigger a cutscene followed by a fight. Defeat Onis, The Leo Astrae. It’s weak to dark, resists air, nullifies fire and absorbs light. It can also be inflicted with the poison ailment. Once you defeat it, enter Dagmar’s house. You’ll then need to search for Zimar’s letters. They can be found by interacting with the table.
Blazing Fields
Travel to the Blazing Fields then make your way to the Leo Temple which can be reached near the end of the Blazing Field. In the area just before the Oasis, head through the eastern most door to reach the Leo Temple.
Leo Temple
Enter the temple then speak with Chelle behind the counter and participate in all 5 battle challenges. Once you defeat Onis, you’ll be able to head through the eastern door. Interact with the Onis statue to review the letters. Afterwards, head back to the council room
F165 – Council Room
Enter the council room to trigger a cutscene.
