Below is a walkthrough for the Treasured Memory standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, listen in on the conversations around Colony Mu then head to a rest spot and discuss the New Gate topic. Please note that Fiona is required to be in your party for this quest!
After you accept this request, speak with Mikaela in Colony Mu. Afterwards, head down and speak with Triton. Next, follow Triton on his very slow walk to the canteen to trigger an event. When it’s over, head to the objective on the southern side of Cadensia Region. Interact with the Sandbank to find a boot! Since this is not what you’re in search of, head to the northern side of Cadensia. Once there, interact with the Sandbank again. This time you’ll find a humongous egg. Return to Colony Mu and speak with Triton. After the cutscene, travel to the Sandbar Ferronis Hulk and drop down into the sandpit to find the Sandbank. Get to digging to find a Clammoth! Once again return to Triton and speak with him to complete the quest.
