Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – The Three Fiends

Below is a walkthrough for The Three Fiends standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, listen in on the conversations at the Ascension Grounds during Chapter 7 then head to the rest spot and discuss the Castle Prisoners topic.

For the first task enter the nearby Station Breakroom to trigger a cutscene. After it concludes, speak with the 3 prisoners to obtain some more standard quests. Please note that you have two options to complete these quests as shown below. In our opinion, Option 2 is the better one!

Option 1

When you’re ready, speak with Soona next to the cells. Ask about the prisoners first if you’d like then select “All right, let’s fight” to progress the quest. Defeat the three Level 57 prisoners to complete the quest!

Rewards:

• 1840 Gold
• 3 SP
• Sergeant’s Headband x1

Option 2

Complete each of the 3 prisoner’s standard quests. To do this, speak with the following people to collect all the pieces of information:

Tohma

1. Tohma
2. Agnus Castle Region – Ascension Grounds – Intern. Affairs Officer
3. Cadensia Region – Erythia Sea – Central Harbor – Inspection Analyst

Xera

1. Xera
2. Cadensia Region – Agnus Castle Barbican – Central Harbor – Dana
3. Cadensia Region – Agnus Castle Barbican – Mulus Depot – Logistics Guy
4. Cadensia Region – Agnus Castle Barbican – Southeast of Prison Camp, Freight Gate landmark – Kaye

Jhodor

1. Jhodor
2. Agnus Castle Region – Station Breakroom – Intern. Affairs Officer
3. Cadensia Region – Agnus Castle Barbican – Central Harbor – Darnie
4. Cadensia Region – Agnus Castle Barbican – Mulus Depot – Grover

After you’ve collected all the topics, head to a rest spot and discuss Xera’s Situation, Jhodor’s Situation and Tohma’s Situation. Afterwards, return to Ivory Gaol and speak with Tohma. Select “Tell her” when prompted. Head to the next cell and speak with Xera. Again, select “Tell her” when prompted. Once again, head to the next cell and speak with Jhodor. Select “Tell her” when prompted. Afterwards, speak with Soona to complete the quest!
