Below is a walkthrough for The Lost Off-Seer standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, listen in on the conversations around Colony Lambda. Afterwards, head to the rest spot and discuss the Missing Off-Seer topic.
Fast travel to the Urayan Tunnels, Entrance landmark in the Fornis Region. From there, head north to the objective on the top of a cliff. Speak with Moraine then fast travel to Zem’s Crossway landmark near the center of Fornis Region. Head to the nearby objective and speak with Shijima. Next, return to Moraine at the Urayan Tunnels, Entrance landmark to trigger a quick cutscene followed by a fight. Defeat the Level 28 Agnus Survey Team. Afterwards, another cutscene will travel. When it completes, interact with Moraine who is hiding behind a rock on the northwestern side of the search area. Once the cutscene is finished, the quest will complete.
