This standard quest is obtained automatically during Chapter 2 of Xenoblade Chonicles 3.
Objective: Head for Hillside Ferronis Hulk
Travel to the southern part of the Millick Meadows to trigger a cutscene followed by a fight with 5 Nestrand Crustip. One will be an elite enemy! Defeat them then approach the 2 containers next to the fabricator to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, climb the ladder behind the 2 containers and interact with the panel at the top. Head down to the Ether Channel Mio spotted to the southeast and activate it. Return to the top of the machine and interact with it to install the ether. This will reboot the Ferronis Hulk! You’ll then be able to access the containers at the bottom of the ladder. Do so to receive a bunch of loot then approach the fabricator for another cutscene. When it concludes, use the fabricator that requires 300 Gold. After the cutscene that follows, the quest will complete.
