Below is a walkthrough for the Second Day of Prison in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. You’ll automatically obtain this quest as part of the story during Chapter 5.
Head to the objective in the Perimeter Woodland to trigger a cutscene followed by a fight with a Level 47 Basreek Feris. Defeat it then follow the tracks deeper into the woodland until a cutscene triggers. After the cutscene, you’ll have to fight the beast again. Once again, defeat it then report back to the guard. Return to the Perimeter Woodland to trigger a cutscene. Turn around and report back to the guard again to complete the quest.
