Below is a walkthrough for the Rules of the Hunt standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, listen in on the conversations around Colony 11 then discuss the Easel’s Unit topic at any rest spot.
Approach Hexen near the canteen to trigger a cutscene. She’ll want you to gather 10 of each item. For a guide on where to find these items, click here! Once you’ve gathered the requested items, speak with Hexen again.
Afterwards, fast travel to Elsie’s Spout landmark in the Fornis Region. Once there, head north to the objective and speak with Easel. When the cutscene is through, examine and follow the tracks until a cutscene triggers followed by a fight with a Level 46 Hantis Ansel. Defeat the bird then return to Colony 11 and approach Hexen to complete the quest.
