Below is a walkthrough for the Riku and Manana standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. You’ll automatically obtain this quest as part of the story!
Objective: Cook a meal
After you accept the quest, you’ll receive the following items to cook a meal: Glitter Radish x2, Comet Carrot x2 and Bunnit Meat x1. Interact with the Rest Spot at camp and follow the tutorial to cook Manana’s Battle Soup. Next, you’ll have to collect a Glaring Eyeball. Follow the objective southeast of the camp to trigger a cutscene followed by a battle with Gyanna Aspar (giant snake). In the middle of the battle, a cutscene will trigger leading to the Chain Attack tutorial. Complete the tutorial and finish the battle. After the fight, head back to Lake Rezzento Camp. Interact with the camp and follow the gem crafting tutorial. You’ll then need to follow the tutorial on how to equip the gem. Afterwards, the quest will complete.
