In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, whenever you reach Level 10 on the Lapidarist class using Neo the For the Sake of Keepsake quest will become available. You’ll need to complete this quest to increase the max level for this class to 20. To start the For the Sake of Keepsake quest, travel to the City Camp in the City Interior (should be a ? on the map there). This will cause an event to trigger with an engaged couple asking Masha about the rings they ordered. To no one’s surprise, she forgot the order so the team decides to help her out, officially kicking off the quest.
In order to craft the perfect set of engagement rings, Masha tells the group they’ll need to learn about the couple from their friends and family. Speak with the following individuals:
- LN Compeer B – Down the stairs south of City Camp
- LN Compeer A – Just north of Astelle Harbor near the ship
- LN Compeer C – Across the entrance to the War Room
After speaking with everyone, return to the City Camp and use it to discuss the “Jake and Tessa” information. Masha needs you to travel to Corne Island, which is south of Colony Mu in the Cadensia Region.
Once there, make your way around the island to the top of the mountain. Be cautious as the monsters here are Level 45! At the top of the mountain near a zipline you’ll find an item on the ground. Pick it up to trigger a cutscene.
For the next item, travel to the Stoneyard in the Pentelas Region. Follow the northern path, and eventually, you’ll reach a ladder. Just past this ladder will be the Level 51 Argent Ropl unique enemy. Defeat this enemy to receive the needed item.
Now that you have both materials, return to City Camp where Masha will complete the rings! Once the rings are made, head down the stairs to deliver the rings to Jake and Tessa. After the touching cutscene, the quest will complete!
