Below is a walkthrough for the Doing it My Way hero quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, examine the ? on Ishan Isle then head east to the ? on Hargan Point to trigger a cutscene. You’ll be able to access this area in Chapter 5!
After the cutscene, return to Ishan Isle and this time speak with Ronja. For the first challenge, you’ll have to defeat four Level 47 Delit Gyaark swimming in the waters around the island. Once you’ve completed the challenge, return to Ronja and speak with her.
For the next challenge, travel west to the First Pillar Remnant landmark on Daedal Isle. Once there, speak with Lhukavu to receive the Booty? topic. Head to a rest spot to discuss it! Afterwards, return to Daedal Isle and make your way to the three objective markers. Once there, retrieve the items. Watch out as the eastern objective has Level 70 enemies around it! When all 3 items have been gathered, return to Lhukavu and speak with him. You’ll have to pick a booty:
- Millennial Tree Amber
- Yum-Yum Coconut
- Ancient Taos Fossil
We chose the Millennial Tree Amber and won the challenge!
For the third, travel southeast to the Cascade Crossroads landmark and speak with Kio. For this challenge, examine the nearby footprints then follow the trail to the right. Eventually, you’ll reach Saoru. Once you speak with him, continue following the tracks. This time you’ll reach the Level 47 Arcaphor Gogol. Defeat it!
After the enemy has been defeated, travel to the Hargan Point Camp landmark and head north to trigger a cutscene. When the cutscene concludes, you’ll face off against Triton and his Crew. Triton is Level 48 and his cronies are Level 47. Defeat them all to complete the quest!
