Below is a walkthrough for the A Deep-Seated Scar hero quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, you must first level Ashera to rank 10 and complete The Ultimate Vessel standard quest as part of the main story in Chapter 7. Afterwards, travel to the ? at the Old Kana Battlefield in the Fornis Region. Please note that Ashera is required to be in your party for this quest.
For the first task, fast travel to the Windstrong Bluffs landmark on the southeastern side of the Pentelas Region then enter the Keves Castle Region. Approach Colony 11 to trigger a cutscene then head through the battle to reach the bridge. Once there, another cutscene will trigger followed by a fight against seven of Consul R’s Forces. Defeat them all then another cutscene will trigger followed by a fight with the Consul R’s Puppets. Take them out again then head across the bridge, defeating the enemies as you go. When you reach the gate, a cutscene will trigger.
Afterwards, approach the Three Ravens in Colony 11 to begin another cutscene. When it concludes, head along the northern wall of the colony to find Ashera. Next, travel to Hovering Reef 5 to find a machine where you can shoot a rope. Do so then rope slide to reach Hovering Reef 0. For the fight here, you’ll be up against the Level 64 enemy. Deal some damage against her to trigger another cutscene. When the fight begins, you’ll be up against the Level 65 Moebius W and Level 65 Moebius R. Defeat the duo to complete the quest.
