Below is a walkthrough for the A Chance Encounter standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, listen in on the conversations around Colony 9 during Chapter 7 then discuss the News of Eilis topic at a rest spot.
For the first task, fast travel to the Prison Camp, Freight Gate landmark then approach Eilis. After the cutscene, you’ll need to gather the 10 each of the following items:
- Stavepetal
- Titanic Bee Hive
- Sodie Stone
Head to each of the objectives and retrieve the items. Once you’ve found them all, return to Eilis to trigger a cutscene. After it concludes, the quest will complete!
Rewards:
- 4780 EXP
- 2170 Gold
- 3 SP
- Expanding Memory x1
