Below is a walkthrough for the Finale – The Tale of the Heart’s Domain in Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden.
Omega Isle
After the conclusion of Chapter 4, head to the second floor of the Spirit Spire to check on Lac. Afterwards, you’ll have the option to return to the Heart Domain to defeat the Queen. Instead of interacting with the altar again, now would be a great time to do any clean up that you have! Click here for some trophy guides if you’re interested! When you’re ready, interact with the altar!
Heart’s Domain
Upon interacting with the altar, you’ll be teleported to the throne room. Speak with the Queen to begin a fight against her shadow that has 10 HP. Defeat it as part of the scripted fight with Starlight Veil. Afterwards, speak with the Queen again to use the secret path, leaving the Land of Woe behind! Travel just south of Anxietown to find Laty.
Next, travel to the west to find Laty near Burdenburg. Speak with her again then tell her that you want to keep exploring and will return to Lac in the throne room without assistance. Make your way to the Land of Woe where you can find the below chests!

When you’re ready, head to the throne room and speak with Lac. During the cutscene, Laty will express her feelings. You have to tell her that you love her as well in order to progress the story. Otherwise, it’s game over for you!
Broken Heart’s Domain
When the cutscene concludes, head northwest and land on the glowing card.
During the scene, we asked the woman if she was Laty’s mother and she smiled and nodded. Continue following the linear path around, passing Burdenburg. South of Burdenburg a brief cutscene with Laty’s mother will trigger. Afterwards, continue heading south then swing east. Step on the bridge to trigger another scene. When it concludes, make your way north to the Spirit Spire. Upon landing on the spire’s card, a cutscene will trigger.
Spirit Spire
Once in the spire, head directly north and pass through the door. Head directly north to find Laty. Once she joins your party, enemies will randomly spawn again! Make your way to the west to locate the stairs and take them to the second floor. You’ll have to decide here who you’d like to join your party to assist you up until the final fight.
Choose your favorite pair. If you need to return to the real world for anything before proceeding, interact with the altar. When you’re ready to progress, continue exploring the spire to find the below chests.

Gemstone Ring II – Spirit Spire: 3rd Floor – Northwestern side
Heavenly Guardian – Spirit Spire: 4th Floor – To reach this chest, you must push 2 boulders into the water then head southeast to find it!
When you reach the 4th floor, you’ll come to an area in the southern part that has stelas lining the way. Every time you pass between the stelas, you’ll have to fight enemies with decent amounts of HP so be prepared! On the 5th floor, there will be an Armorer and Item Shop for you to stock up at one last time. On the 6th floor, you’ll encounter Lac just before the altar. Interact with him to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, approach the altar when you’re ready for the final boss!!
After interacting with the altar, you’ll be unable to save and must clear all the enemies from this room. Interact with Laty’s parents for a full heal anytime you need it after a battle as you work your way through this floor, fighting all the enemies. As a note, whatever spirit you fight, the corresponding maiden and attendant will join you! When you land on a purple glowing card, a fight with the Onyx Spirit will trigger. It is weak to light, resists dark and has 300 HP. After you defeat it, move on to the red glowing cards (after you heal again of course!). You’ll then be up against the Crimson Spirit. It has 230 HP and resists fire. Land on the card with the blue or white glowing outline to trigger a fight with the Ivory Spirit, which has 220 HP and the Azure Spirit, which has 240 HP. This fight is a bit different as you’ll only be fighting with the Ivory maiden, her attendant, Azure maiden and her attendant. Your main character and Laty will sit this one out! The Azure Spirit is weak to lightning. If these spirits are challenging, just skip right to them the next time you reload then backtrack to the others. For the last and final fight against Lac, you’ll be able to choose the maiden and her attendant that fights with you. Lac has a whopping 500 HP!! Defeat him! During the cutscene that follows, you’ll have to select to “leave her to it”. When you gain control, speak with all the people in the room then interact with the altar to make your choice on the ending. You’ll have to choose between friendship, family and love. Erase 2 and the remaining one will be the ending. After the cutscene, the game will conclude!
