Welcome to NGB and our Unicorn Overlord guide on The Champion of Order side quest! Learn how to begin and finish the quest, discover the rewards you’ll earn and the strategy we applied to conquer the battle stage. Keep in mind that we prioritized tasks like freeing forts, capturing bridges, and clearing watchtowers before meeting the victory conditions to maximize experience points, war funds, Honors, and renown, all crucial for strengthening the Liberation Army.
How to Start The Champion of Order Quest
To begin The Champion of Order quest in Unicorn Overlord, approach the area shown on the map below to trigger a cutscene.
How to Complete The Champion of Order
For this Battle Stage, you’ll mainly be facing Wyvern Knights, Fighters and Hunters so plan your units accordingly. Wyvern Knights are weak ranged and magic units, Fighters are susceptible to Warrior and magic units and Hunters are weak to Fighters and Hoplites.
Be on the lookout for shiny objects on the ground throughout the battle stage. You’ll be able to receive the following items: Wind Faerie’s Charm, Beckoning Bell and Giant’s Canopy.
For this map, you’ll notice there are 3 Command Posts that you’ll need to clear plus a ruins. In the eastern part, you’ll find the Gofleul Ruins surrounded by barricades. A unit consisting of 2 Clerics and a Shaman guards it.
The Command Posts are all clustered in the northwestern part of the area and are guarded by 2 Watchtowers. The central Command Post is guarded by a unit consisting of 2 Wyvern Knights, a Soldier and a Cleric and is accompanied by an eastern unit consisting of 2 Thieves and 2 Wyvern Knights and a western unit consisting of 3 Thieves and a Soldier. The northern Command Unit is protected by a unit consisting of 2 Gladiators, 1 Housecarl and 1 Witch, plus a nearby unit consisting of 2 Thieves and 2 Wyvern Knights. Last but certainly not least is the western Command Post, which is guarded by a unit consisting of 3 Wyvern Knights and a Cleric. On the nearby bridge a unit of 2 Witches and 2 Fighters awaits. Make sure to have Primm speak with Hilda at this Command Post! She’ll try to convince her sister to stop, however, the attempt will fail. Afterwards, defeat Hilda to receive a Silver Trident.
