Welcome to NGB and our Unicorn Overlord guide on how to complete the Sigils of the Ancients Overworld Quest! Here we will cover how to start and complete this quest along with the rewards you will receive. Overworld Quests are typically found on the world map and require you to complete specific actions, recruit a certain character or deliver requested items. Every little bit will help to strengthen the Liberation Army!
How to Start the Sigils of the Ancients Quest
To obtain the Sigils of the Ancients quest, speak with Selvie at the magic circle southeast of the Fort Lonteria after completing The Battle for Lonteria. She’ll offer to join the Liberation if you help with her research. Agreeing to help her will begin the quest.
How to Complete Sigils of the Ancients
For this quest, you’ll need to find and interact with the magic circles to complete all the sigils of the ancients.
The Sigil’s Trial, Beginner 1
Location: Cornia Region
The first one can be found on the magic circle Selvie is standing. Interacting with it will begin The Sigil’s Trial, Beginner I. Upon completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Lapis Pendant
- Dew of Vitality
- Novice Military Treatise x3
The Sigil’s Trial, Beginner 2
Location: Drakenhold Region
For this battle, you’ll face mostly Wyvern Knights and Hunters. Wyvern Knights are weak to Hunters and Swordfighters, whereas, Hunters are weak to Fighters and Hoplites. Upon completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Phantom Knight’s Shield
- Dew of Protection
- Novice Military Treatise x3
The Sigil’s Trial, Moderate 1
Location: Cornia Region
For completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Phantom Knight’s Spear
- Dew of Strength
- Standard Military Treatise x3
The Sigil’s Trial, Moderate 2
Location: Drakenhold Region
For this battle, you’ll face mostly Arbalists and Gladiators so plan your units accordingly. Arbalists are weak to Clerics, whereas, Gladiators are weak to Calvary and Thieves. Upon completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Phantom Knight’s Axe
- Dew of Knowledge
- Standard Military Treatise x3
The Sigil’s Trial, Moderate 3
Location: Elheim Region – Southwest of Satama Town
For completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Phantom Knight’s Greatshield
- Dew of Warding
- Standard Military Treatise x3
The Sigil’s Trial, Advanced 1
Location: Elheim Region – Hildi Town
For this battle, you’ll be facing mostly Elven Fencer and Sergeant enemies so plan your units accordingly. Upon completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Phantom Knight’s Sword
- Dew of Skill
- Expert Military Treatise x3
The Sigil’s Trial, Advanced 2
Location: Bastorias Region – Fort Perzmost
For completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Phantom Knight’s Shield
- Dew of Acuity
- Expert Military Treatise x3
The Sigil’s Trial, Advanced 3
Location: Bastorias Region – Northwest of Zagatul Harbor
For this battle, you’ll be facing mostly Werebear and Werewolf enemies so plan your units accordingly. Upon completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Phantom Knight’s Bow
- Dew of Keenness
- Expert Military Treatise x3
The Sigil’s Trial, Expert 1
Location: Albion Region – Near the Black Market Dealer
Upon completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Phantom Knight’s Greatshield
- Dew of Parrying
- Master Military Treatise x3
The Sigil’s Trial, Expert 2
Location: Albion Region – Northwest of Fort Foxwell
Upon completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Illusory Cloak
- Dew of Agility
- Master Military Treatise x3
The Sigil’s Trial, Zenith
Location: Cornia Region – Western side of Sorm Town
Upon completing this map, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Phantom Knight’s Staff
- Dew of Illusion
- Supreme Military Treatise x3
