Marvel’s Midnight Suns – Iron Man’s Friendship Level

by NightlyGamingBinge in

In Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the Hunter will need powerful allies they can trust fighting alongside them in their quest to stop the evil Lilith. To build friendship, the Hunter will need to answer dialog questions correctly and participate in hangout events with each hero. This guide will help you increase Iron Man / Tony Stark’s friendship level, which will improve the overall team’s friendship level. We’ve color coded the below responses to the dialog options for Iron Man. Green is the recommended option as it gives you the highest increase to the friendship level. Yellow is an ok increase. Red will cause a negative impact on a hero’s friendship level. Please note that if a dialog option isn’t listed below, it means that the choice doesn’t matter and you can select whichever option you wish!

Abbey Conversations

Day 1 – After completing the Sanctum Symbiotum main mission

  • On the Stark scale of recklessness yet daring heroics I give it a solid six out of ten. Don’t worry, you’ll get there. With a little help.
    • Get where? (+1)
    • Um, thanks… (+1)
    • Think you could’ve done better? (+0)
  • Stopped here before, while you were out- wanted to surprise you with a nice little housewarming present. Was all set to write you a lovely welcome note but I’m fairly certain that wasn’t red ink in your “quill”.
    • There’s nothing to be scared of. (+1)
    • Thanks for the gift. (+1)
    • [Joke] Quill? What quill? (+0)

Day 2 – At the forge

  • Certainly got that new suit of yours done a lot faster than I expected. Speaking of… what’s the verdict, boss?
    • Thanks, appreciate the effort. (+1)
    • Probably a little too soon to tell, don’t you think? (+0)
    • Why is there a demon in the Forge? (+0)
    • Thanks anyway. (ends conversation)
  • So, what’s your story, Tony?
    • That’s… a lot to deal with. (+1)
    • Well, I guess it all worked out in the end? (+0)
    • Bit full of yourself, aren’t you? (+0)
  • The roar of the ocean, winds moaning through the rafters…
    • I can help with a ghost. (+1)
    • [Joke] I know that ghost… (-1)
    • Your mind is playing tricks on you. (+0)

After completing The Bill Comes Due story mission

  • So, you tell me, Hunter: what’s not to be troubled about?
    • I’ll look into getting the espresso machine fixed. (+1)
    • We’re all concerned about Banner. (+1)
    • Banner is proving to be a weak link. (-1)

After establishing communications with Dr. Banner

  • Hydra may be on the rise, but they will never rise above the Tower.
    • There is no challenge Lilith can’t rise to. (-1)
    • I hope you’re right. (+1)
    • How much does a building like that cost? (+0)

After the events at Avenger’s Tower

  • Go ahead, Hunter! What are you waiting for?! Say it! Tell me I screwed up!
    • You did the right thing. (+1)
    • It was an impossible choice. (+1)
    • You screwed up! (-1)
  • How did I let him play me like that?!
    • Banner fooled us all. (+1)
    • Take a deep breath. (-1)
    • He out-smarted you. (-1)

At Magik’s Birthday Party

  • Half the night I’m shaking hands and managing expectations…
    • That sounds lonely. (+1)
    • You must get a lot of presents. (+0)
    • You’re above all that. (+0)

At Magik’s Birthday Party

  • Are you really going to chase the birthday girl through a hellish dimension she completely controls?
    • She’s my friend. (+0)
    • [Joke] You almost sound jealous. (+1)
    • She’s a crucial asset. (+0)

After discovering the backdoor in the Sanctum

  • Listen, I know you’re probably hearing all sorts of comments after your last tango with Venom…
    • So I keep hearing… (+0)
    • I’m starting to agree with you… (+1)
    • I must break him. (-1)
  • Or Eddie if you talk to Peter…
    • I’m sensing a plan here… (+0)
    • Can’t you just blast him? (-1)
    • Business of what? (+0)

After crafting the symbiote

  • Now we just have to get close enough to Venom to use it…
    • Let me guess, you’ve got that covered… (+0)
    • Um, use it how… (+0)
    • You actually expect me to use that thing? (+0)
  • It’s not gonna be easy to get that sample…
    • Bruce again? You have to let that go… (-1)
    • This is Peter’s choice to make… (+0)
    • And you think I will do what it takes… (+0)
  • This symbiote exists as a whole at the molecular level…
    • Just trying to keep up with you. (+1)
    • Try to remember I’m not from your time. (+0)
    • I just want to know how to kill Venom. (+0)

    • You should have let them know. (+0)
    • You were just protecting them. (+1)
    • Secrets are power. (+0)
  • Give me a couple hours and a decent lunch…

    • [Joke] You’re gonna need a bigger lunch. (+1)
    • I’ll trust you when I see the results. (-1)

After retrieving Howard’s files

  • …in Hell.
    • At least you took it from Banner. (+1)
    • I had no idea you hated your father. (+0)
    • There is no comparison between them. (+1)
  • If that’s what Banner is after, we could be in a world of hurt.
    • Do not despair. (+0)
    • I hope you are wrong. (+0)
    • We are already in a world of hurt. (+0)
  • Gives us our biggest ace in the hole! I know, the irony isn’t lost on me.
    • Maybe you misjudged him. (+0)
    • All we can do is try it. (+1)
    • I don’t trust his technology. (-1)

    • Magic must be respected. (+0)
    • You two need to work things out. (+1)
    • You’re being too polite. (-1)
    • I”m so glad you’re being patient. (+0)

    • You can use that tech for good. (+1)
    • Don’t you mean Lilith? (+1)
    • Embrace your inner darkness. (-1)
    • You are not your father. (+0)

After rescuing Wanda

  • Do you think I’ll get a “Curse you, Stark”…
    • I hope you get your wish. (+1)

    • Famous last words. (-1)

After completing the research for the Parchment

  • I don’t like to say that I do my best work under pressure, but I think this time, I even amazed myself.
    • I’m impressed as well. (+1)
    • I hope this works as promised. (+0)
    • It’s too soon to celebrate. (+0)
  • But this thing’s gonna shut his team down permanently.
    • Stay focused on the Parchment. (+0)
    • We could use it to destroy Hydra. (-1)
    • I hope you are right. (+0)
    • This thing could destroy Banner. (+0)

After fighting the Hulk

  • Or maybe you’re smart and you know I can get us across the finish line?
    • I’m on your side. (+1)
    • Just listen to Steve. (-1)
    • Step down, Tony. (-2)
    • At least you tried. (+0)
  • How would you, ah, handle something like that?
    • You need to lay off the caffeine. (+0)
    • Make friends with it. (+0)
    • Scare the ghost away. (+0)
  • If that fails, we shoot him off into outer space…
    • Your ideas are still good. (+1)
    • This is not just your problem. (+0)
    • It may be too late to stop Hulk. (-1)
  • But if you told me I would one day trade in my state-of-the-art Avengers lab for a demon-powered forge…
    • You’ve come a long way. (+0)
    • How is Babs? (+1)
    • I hope they’re treating you well. (+1)
    • Soon you’ll be a wizard yourself. (+2)
  • Got you! Been waiting for that a looong time.
    • I wasn’t scared. (+0)
    • Oh, so you’re a prankster now? (+0)
    • You scared me for a second. (+0)

The Good, the Bad, and the Undead DLC

  • I know I said I was completely comfortable with that thing before, but I may have lied…
    • Good call… (+0)
    • You sound like Robbie… (+0)
    • That is disappointing… (+1)

Friendship Level Up Events

    • My respect for the arcane prevents me from accepting. (+0)

Conviction Choice (Wolffort Townsperson)

  • I regret to tell you that his condition remains unchanged. I only wish there were some magic elixir to see him back to health…
  • My father’s name carries great weight, even now. There’s no way we would lose him, not when we need him most.
  • I appreciate your concern, but you needn’t worry. My father is the strongest man I’ve ever known. Doubtless he’ll be back on his feet in no time.

Conviction Choice (Wolffort Soldier)

  • Our demesne can only support so many people. Why not convince them to look to Hyzante for refuge? (liberty)
  • These people have nowhere else to go. We will accept them with open arms. (morality)
  • We must prioritize the happiness of our people. To do so, we must regrettable ask the more problematic individuals to leave. (utility)

Castle Wolffort (Main Story – Voting)

Destroy the bridge and trap the enemy in the castle, then negotiate

Frederica

  • We should destroy the dam to cleanse the crown city of the Aesfrosti
    • 1st Set of Choices
      • We cannot afford to lose this battle, and to do so, we must be willing to make sacrifices.
      • There are few soldiers guarding the reservoir. We can catch the enemy unawares and greatly cull their numbers this way.
        • Aelfric Blast Crystals info
    • 2nd Set of Choices
      • Sneaking in would put Roland in great danger. If he were to fall, our fight would lose its meaning.
      • Roland’s plan relies solely on us to claim victory and makes little to no use of Hyzante’s forces.
  • Using the secret passages to infiltrate the castle is the soundest course of action.
    • His plan is simple and relies solely on House Wolffort to reclaim the city.
    • We have successfully infiltrated the castle using the tunnels before. I have no doubt we can do it again.
    • General Avlora guards the castle. There is a chance your plan could result in a prolonged battle.
      • The Occupied Crown City info

Geela

  • We should destroy the dam to cleanse the crown city of the Aesfrosti
    • The damages will be great, but it is the most certain way to cull the Aesfrosti forces. We can then claim victory without the need for a drawn-out battle.
    • If we show the duchy that we will do whatever it takes to win-even flooding our own city-we will instill fear in their hearts and dampen their morale.
    • We ought to make the greatest use of the blast crystal now that we have one, and this plan allows us to do just that.
  • Using the secret passages to infiltrate the castle is the soundest course of action.
    • If we sneak into the castle, we may be able to catch the enemy unawares and rescue Queen Cordelia.
    • His plan would allow us to reclaim the crown city unharmed. We could show the people that we mean well.
    • Aesfrost needs their ships for both travel and transport. Destroying them now would undoubtedly avail us in future battles.
      • Aelfric Blast Crystals info

Destroy the dam and wash away the troops in the crown city

Benedict

  • I believe it best to trap Aesfrost’s troops in the castle and force them to negotiate.
    • The Norzelia River was originally prone to heavy flooding. We cannot be sure how far the damage will spread.
    • Telliore Reservoir is where the kingdom gets its water. And between the dam and the bridge, the latter is far easier to rebuild.
  • Using the secret passages to infiltrate the castle is the soundest course of action.
    • 1st Set of Choices
      • Even if Aesfrost knows of the tunnels, they won’t be expecting anyone to use them.
      • The tunnels are a royal family secret. I highly doubt Queen Cordelia would have divulged them to anyone.
      • Aesfrost needs their ships for both travel and transport. It would do us well to destroy them at the soonest opportunity.
        • Aelfric Blast Crystals info
    • 2nd Set of Choices
      • Taking the enemy by surprise may grant us a swift victory and reduce the burden on the people.
      • The more time our plan takes, the more likely Queen Cordelia is to be taken hostage. If we sneak into the castle, however, we may be able to help her escape.
      • Allowing harm to befall the crown city and castle would sully House Wolffort’s honor as one of the high houses. We should avoid flooding the city if we can avoid it.
        • Glenbrook’s Three High Houses info

Anna

  • I believe it best to trap Aesfrost’s troops in the castle and force them to negotiate.
    • It will take time and effort, but would mitigate damages to the people.
    • The capital can be repaired, but the dead cannot be brought back to life. The lives of the people should outweigh the importance of efficiency.
    • We must have the people’s support. If we were to lose it, even reclaiming the capital could not keep the kingdom together
      • People of the Crown City info
  • Using the secret passages to infiltrate the castle is the soundest course of action.
    • Only the royal family knows of the tunnels. There is no way Queen Cordelia has revealed their location.
    • The flood would destroy the crown city whereas stealing into the castle would spare the people harm. And I can think of no one better at covert operations than you, Anna.
    • The enemy is scattered throughout the city and castle. Inside Whiteholm, a small and elite force would have the advantage over numbers.
      • The Occupied Crown City info

Infiltrate the castle, launch a surprise attack, and destroy the duchy’s warship

Roland

  • I believe it best to trap Aesfrost’s troops in the castle and force them to negotiate.
    • Frederica wishes no harm to come to anyone, and that includes your sister.
    • We cannot be sure of Aelfric’s power. If we set it off near the castle, we may be putting Her Majesty in danger…
      • Aelfric Blast Crystals info
  • We should destroy the dam to cleanse the crown city of the Aesfrosti
    • There is a chance Her Majesty has divulged the location of the secret passageways.
    • There will be damages, but all that can be fixed once we reclaim the kingdom, and this plan will give us our best chance of doing that. Hyzante will provide aid to the citizens.
    • We cannot be sure of Aelfric’s power. There is no telling how far the damages would reach if we set it off near the castle.
      • Aelfric Blast Crystals info

Hughette

  • I believe it best to trap Aesfrost’s troops in the castle and force them to negotiate.
    • If Roland wishes for the people’s support, he must act in a way befitting royalty. Unfortunately, flooding the city and surprise attacks hardly make the but.
    • No matter how much time the negotiations take, it is still better than bringing harm to the people. And the bridge can easily rebuilt.
    • It is House Wolffort’s job to protect Glenbrook. I would choose Frederica’s way to safeguard both Roland and his people.
      • Glenbrook’s Three High Houses info
  • We should destroy the dam to cleanse the crown city of the Aesfrosti
    • 1st Set of Choices
      • Right now, the Aesfrosti forces are gathering in the capital. His plan would help rid the city of them in one fell swoop.
      • There are few soldiers guarding the reservoir, making his plan more likely to succeed than the others.
      • His plan puts Roland in a safer position than the others. He is the reason we fight, and we must protect him at all costs.
        • The Occupied Crown City info
    • 2nd Set of Choices
      • There is a chance the duchy has heard about the tunnels from Queen Cordelia…
      • The longer the battle draws out, the greater the damages will be. This strategy puts a swift end to the Aesfrosti and almost certain victory in our hands.

Undecided

Erador

  • I believe it best to trap Aesfrost’s troops in the castle and force them to negotiate.
    • 1st Set of Choices
      • We will need the people’s support when rebuilding the capital. To do so, we must win it back fair and square, and with as little damage as possible.
      • I think it the most efficient plan of the three, driving Aesfrost into a corner with only a single bridge to mourn – and one that can be repaired fairly easily.
    • 2nd Set of Choices
      • We cannot foresee the damage that a deluge would do to the city, and stealing into the castle would put Roland in great danger.
      • I know that House Wolffort can claim victory without having to sacrifice the capital or the people’s safety.
      • Winning isn’t everything. We must face the consequences of our actions and take responsibility for rebuilding. To that end, I would see as little damages as possible.
  • We should destroy the dam to cleanse the crown city of the Aesfrosti
    • There are few soldiers guarding the reservoir, making his strategy more likely to succeed than the others. We must choose a plan that gives us the highest chance of victory.
    • The deluge will deal the duchy a heavy blow by flushing their soldiers out of the capital.
  • Using the secret passages to infiltrate the castle is the soundest course of action.
    • Infiltrating the castle is proof of Roland’s resolve as a member of the royal family. And as his vassal, I wish to stand beside him.
    • The duchy’s warships are a troublesome force to be reckoned with. It would avail us to destroy them at the soonest opportunity.

Exciting information was announced at today’s Pokemon Direct that blew my socks right off! I don’t think I blinked once during that presentation!! It started off with an announcement of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX for the Switch, which will be available on March 6, 2020. A demo version will be available later today in the Nintendo eShop. You will be able to carry over your save data from the demo to the full version of the game.

Game Freak also announced an Expansion Pass with two new areas for Pokemon Sword and Shield that will be available for pre-purchase later today in the Nintendo eShop. There will be an Expansion Pass for each version that will cost you $29.99 each. If you pre-purchase an Expansion Pass, you will receive a special pre-order bonus of new clothing that will also be available later today after a new update. When released, you will be able to dive right into the new DLC using current save data from Sword and Shield. There will be new areas to explore, new Pokemon to catch, new gyms to battle, new trainers to meet, new character customizations and new Dynamax forms!! Each game will also get version exclusive Pokemon to catch. The first part of content is called The Isle of Armor and will be released in June 2020. The second is The Crown Tundra which is currently scheduled to release in Fall 2020.

The Isle of Armor focuses on a theme of growth where you will become a dojo apprentice to Mustard, who was the mentor of Leon. In Sword, your rival will be Klara (a poison-type user) and in Shield your rival will be Avery (a psychic-type user). After proving yourself to Mustard, he will hand over the new legendary fighting-type Pokemon, Kubfu. Kubfu will evolve into Urshifu, who will either use a single-strike style and be a fighting/dark-type or rapid-strike style making it a fighting/water-type. Urshifu also has a Gigantamax form that will be different based on the type of style it is! The Sword and Shield starters will also be receiving a Gigantimax form with new G-max moves. Lastly, new fashion items and new looks for the bike will also be added.

The Crown Tundra focuses on a theme of exploration where we will become the leader of an exploration team. There we will meet new Pokemon including Calyrex, a new legendary psychic/grass-type Pokemon. We will also be able to explore a strange temple and spy a mysterious tree that grows in a place it doesn’t seem to belong. A new co-op mode will allow us to enter and explore Pokemon dens that exist underground. Deep inside the dens we will see legendary Pokemon from past games, Dynamaxing before our very eyes, plus new legendary Pokemon!! New clothing items will be added and new battle challenges will be available after the whole area is completed. Lastly, The Crown Tundra will have max raid battles with new Pokemon that haven’t appeared in the Wild Area.

More than 200 Pokemon from previous games will appear in The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra!! Even if you don’t purchase the Expansion Pass, you can still obtain the new Pokemon via Link Trades. Players will also be able to bring over Pokemon (only ones that can be found in Sword and Shield) from Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee through a cloud service called Pokemon Home in February 2020. Starting today there is a more likely chance for you to run into Gigantamax Coalossal, Gigantamax Lapras and Gigantamax Flapple or Gigantamax Appletun in max raid battles throughout the Wild Area. Lastly, there will be a software update today.  Once you receive the update, you can head to Wedgehurst Station to encounter Klara (Sword only) or Avery (Shield only). You will then be able to catch a Galarian Slowpoke that has wandered into the station!!!!!!! This Galarian Slowpoke will be able to evolve into Galarian Slowbro if you use an item found in The Isle of Armor and into a Galarian Slowking if you use an item found in The Crown Tundra!
