Below is a walkthrough for the Level 30 Landfall Tallneck in Horizon Forbidden West. This Tallneck can be found off the coast of the island on the far western side of the map. This area will be available after you start the Faro’s Tomb main quest.
Scan the Tallneck
Swim up to the Tallneck and scan it underwater.
Examine the Submerged Tallneck
Examine the Tallneck’s back to see that 2 parts are missing.
Recover the Tallneck’s Missing Parts
Follow the objective north to reach a part of the ocean where some buildings are sticking out of the water. Head to the building with stadium seating to find the first part in a Glinthawk’s nest. Afterwards, use the zipline then jump across the buildings to reach the second Glinthawk’s nest in more stadium seating. Loot it to find the last part.
Return to the Tallneck
Head back to the Tallneck in the water to install the recovered parts.
Jump on to the Tallneck
Swim under the northeastern most building (of the 3 buildings clustered together) in the Tallneck area that has a yellow ladder.
Once on the roof kick down the ladder in case your first attempt doesn’t go to plan. You’ll be able to jump onto the Tallneck. Climb up it then override it!
