Midnight Suns – Book Club Meetings

Meeting 1

Blade will approach you about the Book Club at night sometime after trying to rescue Wanda the first time. Agree to go to the Book Club then speak with everyone there. After Blade selects the book, speak with everyone again. You’ll then have to choose between 2a Captain Marvel or Blade ability. Once you make your suggestion, the meeting will end.

Meeting 2

Before agreeing to start Meeting 2, head to the library and locate the Art of War book, which can be found on a table in the back corner by the window. Afterwards, respond to the message from Blade whenever you receive it, saying you’re down to meet. The next night when everyone is free speak with Blade to begin the meeting. Once there, speak with Blade again to officially kick off Meeting 2.

• You understand Lilith, which led you to discover her weakness. With that came her defeat.
  • The EMO KIDS think so. (+1 Captain America)
  • Yes, but I died. (+2 Blade)
  • That’s just a story. (+1 Captain Marvel)
• Because Kree commanders always expect an answer…

After talking about the book, speak with Captain Marvel.

• I’m nervous about my book. I don’t know how much of it will translate…

Next, speak with Captain America.

• I didn’t know what I was getting into when I signed up, but I’m glad we have Book Club.

You’ll then need to speak with Blade.

• That went better than expected.
  • Yeah, I had a good time. (+0)
  • [Joke] You mean with Carol. (+0)
  • Really? I hated it. (+0)

Meeting 3

Before agreeing to start Meeting 3, head to the library and locate the Kava’t Koth Vol. 32 by the First Lawgiver book, which can be found on a table in the back corner by the window. Afterwards, respond to the message from Blade whenever you receive it, saying you’re down to meet. The next night when everyone is free speak with Blade to begin the meeting. Once there, speak with Blade again to officially kick off Meeting 3. During the meeting speak with Blade.

• All that dry talk faded and it finally came together…
  • Exactly. It had far more to say than I thought. (+1 Captain America)
  • [Joke] You lost me at farm implements. (+2 Blade)
  • Lyrics? I know exactly what you mean. (+1 Captain Marvel)
• Hunter, did you figure out what the Bloom and the Harvest represent?

After the discussion, speak with Captain Marvel.

• I’m kidding. It’s relevant to what we’re facing today…

Afterwards, speak with Captain America then Blade.

• Okay. Just between us, Carol’s book was extremely weird, right?
  • I got something out of it. (+0)
  • [Joke] I’m reserving judgment. (+0)
  • Yeah, it sucked. (+0)
• I didn’t think it was that bad. But interstellar agriculture…
  • Tell Carol what you think. (+0)
  • Whatever you do, don’t tell Carol. (+0)

After you make your choice, tell Blade you’re ready to go to receive two abilities for Captain Marvel and end the meeting.

Meeting 4

Before agreeing to start Meeting 4, head to the library and locate the Mantle of Authority book, which can be found on a table in the back corner by the window. Afterwards, respond to the message from Blade whenever you receive it, saying you’re down to meet. The next night when everyone is free speak with Blade to begin the meeting. Once there, check in with the other members then speak with Blade to officially get started.

• Eventually Custer picked a fight he couldn’t handle…
  • Leaders should never seek personal glory. (+1 Captain America)
  • Good riddance. Custer was repugnant. (+1 Blade, +1 Wolverine)
  • Few would risk their lives without a leader’s direction. (+1 Captain Marvel)
• Washington led from the top…
  • That would backfire if Washington wasn’t so respected. (+2 Captain Marvel)

  • He was right to decree what must be done. (+0)
• To get anything done, I need the group’s consensus…

After the book discussion, speak with the members then talk to Blade.

• I wasn’t sure he’d be into Book Club. And I don’t know what to expect from that book of his.
  • It sounds interesting. (+0)
    • Hmm. Maybe you’re right…
      • You already know how. (+0)
      • Within reason. (+0)
  • [Joke] Words, hopefully. (+0)
  • It sounds awful. (+0)
    • That’s one way to put it. But maybe we shouldn’t judge it by its cover.

When you’re ready, tell Blade you want to go. You’ll receive an ability for the Hunter and can then pick one of two abilities for Captain America.

Meeting 5

Before agreeing to start the fifth meeting, head to the library and locate the Book Club book, which can be found on a table in the back corner by the window. Afterwards, respond to the message from Blade whenever you receive it, saying you’re down to meet. The next night when everyone is free speak with Blade to begin the meeting. Once there, check in with the other members then speak with Blade to officially get started.

• When the Princess asks what the future holds…

After the book discussion, speak with Captain America, Wolverine then Blade.

• Yeah. With everything going on, I’m going to put Book Club on hiatus…

When you’re ready, tell Blade you want to go. You’ll get to pick an ability for Wolverine and will receive an ability for Hunter!
