Horizon Forbidden West – Relic Ruins: The Long Coast

Horizon Forbidden West

Below is a walkthrough for the Level 25 The Long Coast relic ruins in Horizon Forbidden West. This ruins can be found down the road north of Thornmarsh.

Explore the Ruins

In the ruins, look for a switch that causes the lights on the ceiling to move. On the north side of the switch, there is a metal walkway. Use the ledge to the left of the walkway to climb on top of it.

Head to the end of the walkway to find some climbing pegs and use them to climb south. When you get to the end, drop down into a room with Firegleam. Ignite the Firegleam then head through the hole. Turn around and use your Pullcaster on the switch on the other side of the wall. This will cause the lights to move to access a grapple point. Quickly grapple to it as it does not stay there for long. Once on the grapple point, jump to the adjacent ledge to locate a crate. Drop the crate down to the ground level then drag it to the west side of the room. You’ll then need to drop it off the ledge to a pool of water below. Jump down into the water then use your Pullcaster to pull the crate out of the water west through a doorway. After you head through the doorway, on the left side of the room there will be an elevator shaft. Drag the crate into this shaft and push it up against the wall. Pull the vent at the top of the shaft then climb on up. Exit the elevator shaft and follow the walkway around to find an energy cell in the wall. Remove the energy cell then head down the nearby steps and insert it into the slot next the elevator.

Head into the elevator and press the button which will cause the elevator to rise. Pull the crate out of the elevator then send it back down to the bottom level. Exit the elevator and take the stairs back up to the second level. Push the crate into the elevator shaft then push the elevator button again to send it up to the second floor. Exit the elevator then turn around. Facing the elevator, look to your right for a grapple point. Grapple to it then use the pegs on the back side of the shaft to climb up to the top. When you reach the top of the tower, walk out onto a metal beam then jump to an adjacent column that has a yellow ring around the top. From there, glide into a hole to reach the top of the elevator. You can then use the crate to reach another peg that will bring you into the room with the ornament.
