Below is a walkthrough of the Level 8 Convoy Ambush contract in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, speak with Larend.
Go to the Passage
Travel to the Convoy Ambush site south of the Cinnabar Sands Tallneck.
Place Traps on the Road
Places some traps along the route to prepare for the ambush.
Rest at the Camp
After the traps have been placed, rest at the camp.
Kill the Machines
Take care of the three machines.
Return to Larend
Loot the Shell-Walker leaving the plating for Larend and his crew. Travel back to Larend and speak with him to complete the contract.
