This is a guide on the collectibles found in the Temple of Light in God of War Ragnarok (GOWR) for 100% area completion. In this area, the following collectibles can be found:
- Nornir Chests x1
- Legendary Chests x3
- Lore x2
- Artifacts x2
- Odin’s Ravens x2
Odin’s Raven
While working your way through the Temple of Light, Tyr will make a way forward by creating some grapple points on hanging objects. On the other side of the room (east facing the pillar of light), turn right and head up some stairs. There will be a ledge you can drop down to on the left. Follow the path, hugging the right side to find a gate with the raven behind it. Ricochet your axe off the crystal on the rock pillar to kill the bird behind the gate. The light showing the trajectory will turn blue when you’ve lined it up with the raven.
Lore – The Bifrost Bridge
This scroll can be found in the same area as the above raven!
Legendary Chest
From the above lore scroll, there will be a ledge on the northeast side that you can drop down. Do so to find the chest straight ahead. Open the chest to receive Hades Retribution.
Artifact – Visions After Rest
After head up the lengthy circular stairwell, you’ll come to a doorway blocked by a white veil. Turn right, heading south, to find a ledge that you can jump up on. At the top of the ledge take a left to find the Kvasir’s Poem.
Legendary Chest
When you reach the second white veiled door of the temple, drop down through a broken section of railing on the left. Swing right and head through the door to reach a chain just before an elevator. Use the chain to move the elevator and the purple crystal then throw your axe at the purple crystal to break the chain allowing you to access the chest. Open it to receive the Hilt of Gram relic.
Artifact – Spirits Within Walls
After passing through the second white veiled door, look to the left to find this artifact in the small room on a table.
Legendary Chest
When you reach an open area in the temple where Tyr will jump across the gap saying he’ll meet you on the other side, drop off the ledge on the south side of the platform that your one. Follow the grapple points to the gazebo on the southeastern side of the room. There will be a hanging objected with the purple crystal on it that you’ll need to swing to the right then quickly throw your axe at it to break the crystal on the wall. You’ll then be able to reach the legendary chest containing the Rune-Engraved Release accessory.
Nornir Chest
You’ll reach a section of the temple where Kratos and Tyr make a light bridge to cross a gap. If you look to the right, you’ll spot the chest. In order to open it, you’ll need to hit the three gongs. Two are to the left of the chest and the other is down the hallway to the right. You’ll need to use the Sonic Arrow to clear the debris in front of it then ricochet your axe off the crystal to hit it. Open the chest to receive a Horn of Blood Mead.
Odin’s Raven
This raven can be found along the main path after fighting a group of enemies near the top of the light pillar.
Lore – Limitless
This lore can be found on the right arm of a giant statue near the light puzzle where Tyr will jump on the hanging crystal so Kratos can hit it. The statue to the right is the one you want to look at. Head up the stairs and face it to find a point where you can use the Sonic Arrows to cause a grapple point to drop. Swing across to reach it!
