Below is a walkthrough for the Freyr’s Gift favor in God of War Ragnarök. To obtain this favor, approach the giant statue west of The Burrows in The Forbidden Sands.
Investigate the monument to Freyr
Head down the light bridge then take the path right of the lore marker. This will give you a clear shot to destroy the growth. Head down through the newly cleared path and use the Sonic Arrow on the eye lid thing on the wall. Throw your axe to destroy the growth now accessible via the eye lid. Follow the path to retrieve the crystal that was dropped and place it in the device on top of the hill. Head to the southwestern part of the area under a light bridge and pull the crystal from the pedestal to deactivate the light bridge and reveal a dark crystal. Use that to destroy the growth then put the crystal back into its pedestal. Return to the northeastern side then head down the path to where you got the first crystal but head right and go under the main light bridge to find another crystal in a pedestal. Take it and place it in the device on top of the hill. Interact with the beam of light coming from the sand in front of the lore marker to complete the favor.
