Below is a walkthrough for The Search for a Staff side quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. To obtain this quest, speak with Ilda in The Rune Quarter after completing A Life Worth Dying For main quest.
Find the Mage’s Staff on the Snowpeak
Fast travel to the Summit signpost in the Snowpeak then head right to the next area. Defeat the marked flying witch enemy then loot the item that drops. Once you’ve acquired the Mage’s Staff, return to Ilda in The Rune Quarter to complete the quest.
