Below is a walkthrough for the Siu-tien’s Trap Challenge side quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. To obtain this quest, speak with Siu-tien in the Town Outskirts after completing The Humongous Lens main quest.
Trap a Hellhound
Fast travel to Hellhound Lake signpost then set the trap next to the signpost. Leave the dungeon to see if you caught anything. You might have to do this a couple of times to finally catch the hellhound. After you’ve caught one, return to Siu-tien in the Town Outskirts to complete the quest.
