Below is a walkthrough for the Simmer my Scales side quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. To obtain this quest, speak with Hogan on Second Street after completing The Humongous Lens main quest.
Find a Large Scale in the Quarry
From the Mouth signpost, enter the mine then head down to the map transition on the bottom right side. Once in this area, head to the bottom right map transition. In the next area, make your way up to the top left map transition to return to the previous area. Loot the chest to receive the Large Scale then return to Hogan on Second Street and speak with him to complete the request.
