Below is a walkthrough for the A Weapon to Wield side quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. To obtain this quest, speak with Maria in the Town Outskirts after completing the game.
Find a Wieldy Hammer in the Quarry
Fast travel to the Cavern signpost. Once there, head to the next area on the right. In this area, head to the map transition on the middle right side of the room as shown in the image below.
Defeat the enemies there as you make your way to the far right side of this area where a chest awaits. Open the chest then return to Maria in the Town Outskirts to complete the quest.
