How to obtain The Gift of Giving quest
To begin The Gift of Giving quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, speak with Daphne on the western side of the Slums in Vernworth.
The Gift of Giving Objectives
Find a Bunch of Flowers
For this quest, you’ll need to find Daphne some flowers, such as Morningtide, Greenwarish and Pitywort to name a few, which can be gathered from plants in the wild.
Bring Daphne the Flowers
Once you’ve collected the flowers, return to Daphne to hand them over who will then ask you for another favor.
Find Some Silver Ore
This time Daphne requires some Silver Ore. You can gather some Silver Ore from the Coastal Cavern, which is to the northeast of Vernworth by the Ruined Settlement. To reach the cave, head to the southernmost building in the Ruined Settlement then drop down to the ledge along the water.
Bring Daphne the Silver Ore
Now that you have the Silver Ore, return to Daphne to hand it over.
Return in a Few Days Time
Wait several days then return to Daphne who will make another request.
Obtain 2 pieces of gold ore
This time, she’ll and you to obtain 2 pieces of Gold Ore. This ore can be gathered along the river northeast of Vernworth.
Bring Daphne the Gold Ore
Once you’ve collected the ore, return to Daphne to hold it over. She’ll ask you for another favor.
Bring Daphne medicine for treating blight
For this task, you’ll need to acquire 5 Detoxifying Decoctions. You can either craft these potions using a Pitywort and Syrupwort Leaf, or purchase them for 500G each from Philbert’s Sundries in Vernworth. Once you have the potions, return to Daphne to hand them over. As a reward you’ll receive a Golden Trove Beetle and 100G.
