Digimon Survive Part 1 Walkthrough
The beginning of Part 1 starts with Minoru and Aoi being attacked by more of the shadows. When hope seems lost, two mysterious creatures come to their aid, with the scene fading to black. It then transitions to Takuma, who overhears his friend’s screams and rushes to aid them.
Inner Shrine
At the Inner Shrine, Takuma reaches Minoru, who is being attacked by a shadow. After making a route decision, you’ll be thrust into battle with two Gotsumon. Defeat them using Agumon and Falcomon to trigger a cutscene with Minoru. After a while, Aoi will call out to them.

Old School
Upon reaching the school, a cutscene triggers, during which Takuma receives a route decision on what a school is. After educating Agumon, Minoru points out how rundown it looks. The trio will then head inside to investigate where Labramon finally gives out due to the pain she’s been dealing with. Takuma quickly finds a first aid kit That Aoi will use to tend to her wounds.

Classroom
After hearing some noises, Takuma and Agumon head to the classroom upstairs to investigate. Once inside, they find that the source of the disturbance is Ryo, who is focusing on a large insect. The other creatures identify it as Kunemon, saying that he doesn’t appear to mean any harm. After more discussion, you’ll be turned loose to examine the room. Feel free to examine the objects listed under the exploration section below. When you’re ready, activate camera mode and examine the blackboard on either side of the room.

Free Battle
This would be a good point to get in some Free Battles. There are 3 new Digimon you can potentially recruit through the battles. They are listed below and linked to their own guides covering what you’ll need to do to recruit each Digimon to your team!
The rest of the school is now open for you to explore. In the next few sections, you’ll find what you can check out in each area. Some will reward you with an item upon interacting with it, which is indicated in parentheses behind the item. Make sure to stop by the Classroom and speak with Ryo to have a chance to increase his affinity. To progress the story, you must travel to the Corridor and speak with Minoru. From there, travel to the Classroom to speak with Ryo, then the School 2F Corridor, interacting with the Music Room door.

Speak with Minoru to trigger an event where a paranormal visitor briefly appears. This will freak Minoru out, prompting Takuma to suggest chasing after it.

Classroom
Head back to the Classroom and speak with Ryo, who also happened to catch a glimpse of the visitor. During the conversation, the two will hear some music playing with the sound coming from the Music Room.

School 2F Corridor
Go to the School 2F Corridor and interact with the Music Room door. Another event will kick off when Takuma attempts to enter the Music Room but cannot because the door is locked. He and Agumon decide to continue exploring the school.

Gym
Set out for the gym and speak with Labramon when you arrive. She’ll sense Aoi’s presence but is unsure where it’s coming from. Interact with the gym door to cause Labramon to pinpoint Aoi’s location as being on the other side of the doors.

Faculty Room
To progress with the story, travel to the Faculty Room and interact with the desk near the Vice Principal’s Desk. Takuma will find Labramon, who is still frantically searching for Aoi. This will trigger a route decision where Takuma will try to cheer her up.

Toilet
Before visiting the toilet, you’ll want to go to the Classroom and interact with the desks until you find the one with the Spirit Lamp. After doing so, travel to the cafeteria and interact with the locker on the left side of the room to find some vinegar. Return to the Classroom and use it on the desk to retrieve the Spirit Lamp. It will help out in the upcoming boss fight. Make sure to save and maybe do a couple of free battles. Once you’re ready, head for the toilet! Interact with the Ceiling above the john to find a hatch. This will trigger a lengthy cutscene, which ends with a boss fight in the gym against the virus-type Dokugumon.

- After a series of cutscenes, you’ll be thrown into a boss fight against 3 level 1 and 1 level 5 champion Digimon.
- If you haven’t gotten the Sprit Lamp Kit from the Classroom yet, now would be a good time, as it will be handy for the upcoming boss fight.

Gym Boss Fight
If you obtain the Spirit Lamp, Takuma will throw it at the Dokugumon, damaging 1/4 of its health. You’ll then get to pick 2 Digimon to fight alongside Agumon and Labramon. The enemies will be 3 level 1 and a level 5 Dokugumon. It would be best to start by picking off the level 1s before going after the level 5. When the level 5 takes about half its health in damage, a cutscene will trigger summoning 2 level 2 Dokugumon into the battle. Also, note that there is a chest with a Guard Break on the left side of the battlefield. Attack the chest with a Digimon to loot it. After beating the boss, a cutscene triggers, leading to the end of Digimon Survive Part 1!
