The Missing: Laura Lost & Found side quest in Dead Island 2 can be picked up from the missing board in the Serling Hotel during the Plumbing the Depths story quest. For this missing person, it is believed that she had been arrested on Venice Beach the day of the outbreak. When you’re ready to proceed, travel to Venice Beach and make your way south to the police station on the beach. Once inside, interact with the blue cell door to find out that you need the Jail Cell 01 Key to open it. Head directly across the hall and pick up the Keeper of the Keys journal entry on the desk.
You’ll learn that the person holding the key (Police Chief Malloy) went to Venice Hot Dogs. Head across the way to the hot dog shop to find the chief.
Take him out then loot the key he drops! Return to the police station and unlock the cell to find Emily and Laura. After you take them down, the quest will complete. As a reward, you’ll receive 1,500 XP. For more guides on Dead Island 2, click here!
