For the Cremains of the Day side quest in Dead Island 2, speak with W.O. Rodriguez in the military tower in the northwestern corner of Venice Beach. She’ll be accessible during The Final Gauntlet story quest. It’s worth making the trip up here as she is a trader that sells special blueprints!
To help her out, make your way down to the first floor and exit the tower at the rear to begin the assault on the death pits. Once on the beach, light all 3 pits on fire. You’ll then need to defeat M.C. Spitzfire.
Afterwards, return to W.O. Rodriguez and speak with her to complete the quest. As a reward, you’ll receive 3,000 XP, $500 and a Rare Ranged Cremator Mod. For more guides on Dead Island 2, click here!
