How to Begin the Beat on the Brat Questline
To begin the Beat on the Brat side job, which kicks off the Beat on the Brat questline, speak with Coach Fred on or after the Ripperdoc main job.
Beat on the Brat Walkthrough
Defeat the Training Robot
Talk with Coach Fred and agree to fight his training robot. Defeat it in a quick boxing match then speak with Coach Fred again. He will mention V being a sharp fighter and start talking about setting you up with some fights.
If you defeat all four opponents around the city, you will qualify to fight in the final round.
Beat on the Brat: Kabuki
You’ll unlock the Beat on the Brat: Kabuki side job, automatically after picking up the Beat on the Brat side job. For this side story, you’ll need to defeat the twins.
Travel to the rooftops in northeastern Watson – Kabuki and speak with the twins.
This will be a 1 vs 2 fight where you fight both of them at the same time, so make sure you have leveled up a bit when you decide to take them on. Since there are two of them, you have the option to increase the bet on the fight to $2,000 eddies.
Beat on the Brat: The Glen
You’ll automatically begin the Beat on the Brat: The Glen side job after reaching Act 2. For this side job, you’ll need to defeat El Cesar. Head to the objective southwest of the Valentino Alley fast travel point in Heywood – The Glen to find El Cesar.
Agree to pay $4,000 to begin the match then defeat Cesar and speak with him. You can choose to take both the $8,000 eddies and the car, just the car, just the eddies or nothing at all. Whatever you decide, the job will complete.
Beat on the Brat: Arroyo
The Beat on the Brat: Arroyo side job will automatically begin after reaching Act 2. For this side job, you’ll need to defeat Buck. Head to the objective north of the Megabuilding H4 fast travel point in Santo Domingo – Arroyo.
When you speak with Buck, you have 2 options.
Option 1
You can agree to put up $2,900 to start the match. Defeat Buck then speak with him to complete the job.
Option 2
If your Body Value is 11, tell him he has a nice rifle. You’ll then increase the stakes to $12,000, and he’ll toss in the sniper rifle. After you defeat Buck, speak with him and request the rifle. He won’t give it up, and you’ll be attacked by 4 enemies that pack a punch. Defeat them using either lethal or nonlethal force (it does not matter) then retrieve the rifle from the top of a barrel to complete the job.
Beat on the Brat: Rancho Coronado
The Beat on the Brat: Rancho Coronado side job will automatically begin after reaching Act 2. For this side job, you’ll need to defeat Rhino. Head to the objective south of the Rancho Coronado South fast travel point in Santo Domingo – Rancho Coronado.
Approach the garage to be stopped by a bouncer. You’ll need to either pay $3,800 or, if you have a Body Value of 11, you can tell him to get out of your way.
Once you enter the Animals’ club, speak to Rhino, the lady sitting in a chair near the ring. Afterwards, hop in to begin the fight. She packs quite the electrified punch, so be sure to dodge her attacks. Defeat Rhino then speak with her to complete the job.
Beat on the Brat: Pacifica
Coach Fred will call you after defeating the other four fighters (and the Send in the Clowns side job), saying he will set you up with another fight. This time, your opponent will be Ozob.
Travel to the objective in Pacifica northeast of the Grand Imperial Mall fast travel point to locate Ozob.
Speak with him to bet either $16,000 or $32,000 eddies on the fight, and then head to the ring to start the fight. Defeat him to complete the job.
Beat on the Brat Final Fight
Once you defeat all the above opponents, head to the final fight which is northwest of the Grand Imperial Mall fast travel point in Pacifica – West Wind Estate.
Enter the mall and speak with Coach Fred near the ring. You’ll have two options!
Throw the Fight
If you agree to throw the fight, follow him to the escalator to have a private conversation. Afterward, head into the ring when prompted and sit in your corner. When the bell tolls, start fighting Razor Hugh.
Lose on purpose after a few hits, and then speak with the coach. Follow him to the escalator again. The coach will hand over $6,960 and the job will complete.
Don’t Throw the Fight
If you don’t agree to throw the fight, talk to the coach again when you are ready, then head into the ring to sit in your corner. When the bell tolls, start fighting Razor.
According to Viktor, Razor’s weak spot is his stomach, so hit him there to do the most damage while watching out for his swings.
After you defeat him…
