How to Start The Land of Bestrals Quest
To begin The Land of Bestrals main quest in Unicorn Overlord, you’ll first need to liberate Krannich Harbor by completing The Battle for Krannich quest. Once the harbor has been liberated, complete the Restoration Requests for the harbor.

Once the harbor has been restored, select to board the ship from the harbor’s menu and agree to travel to the Southern Coast of Bastorias.

When you load in, you’ll find yourself in the southern part of the map and will need to follow the only path north to reach the Command Post. There will be two towers with magick casters guarding it. There will be some Steel Traps and Barricades sprinkled along the main path. Your best bet might be to summon a flying unit with a Radiant Knight to take out the Watchtowers.

How to Start the Heir to the Dragonlands Quest
To begin the Heir to the Dragonlands quest in Unicorn Overlord, travel to Fruth Harbor on the eastern side of the area then head northwest to find Gilbert next to a fort. As you approach him, a cutscene will trigger and the banners will then show up on the map. After interacting the banner, a lengthy cutscene will trigger during which Alain will learn the truth about Prince Ludwig from Virginia who will in turn ask Alain to speak with him.

When the battle starts, you’ll be on the eastern side of the area with the enemy’s main Command Post on the northern side of the map. If you captured the Kleinfeld Checkpoint, you’ll be able to station a unit there. When the fight starts, make sure a unit stays garrisoned on the eastern Command Post as you’ll have a couple of Wyvern Knights making a beeline for it. It might be worth it to keep a unit here as the Wyvern Knights will continue to spawn throughout the battle. Take the bridge leading to Schwieger Town first. As you approach the bridge, that’s when Hermann’s unit will flip sides allowing you to take it over. Just before you reach the middle bridge leading to the Soldraga Outskirts, an event will trigger where the enemy Commander, who happens to be Berengaria, shows up with reinforcements at the Soldraga Outskirts. You’ll need to be careful when you try to take over the outskirts as there is a catapult near the Command Post that will keep firing until it’s out of shots.
Be on the lookout for shiny objects on the ground throughout the battle stage. You’ll be able to receive the following items: Magick Mine, Empowering Draught and Healing Tonic (M).

You might want to exercise some caution before starting this liberation quest. By liberating this checkpoint, you’ll give yourself another place to spawn units during the upcoming Heir to the Dragonlands main quest, however, this will also alert the enemy of an upcoming attack and will cause them to spawn more units.
How to Start The Battle for Kleinfeld Quest
To begin the Battle for Kleinfeld, approach Kleinfeld on the map to trigger an event with the enemy commander currently occupying the checkpoint. Once it concludes, the quest will begin! You can reach Kleinfeld by heading north from Schaetze Town or going east from Vansberg Town then going north at the split.
Battle STage
During this stage you’ll be facing mainly Shieldshooters and Wyvern Knights. Shieldshooters struggle a bit against Clerics while Wyvern Knights are weak to classes that deal ranged or magick attacks so keep that in mind when selecting your units. You can find the full list of enemies below under the Enemy Units section.
When the battle starts, you will find your Command Post on the western side of the battlefield with the enemies is on the eastern side. Between you is a bridge followed by some barricades littered along the main road. You’ll want to take the bridge and garrison a unit there while sending a flying unit accompanied by a ranged and/or magick to take care of the Wyvern Knights. The enemy units will also rush the bridge so expect some resistance. One of the enemies will activate the Attack Call Valor Skill on the bridge which will give enemies units within range an attack boost of 20%. Once it’s been claimed, head for the Command Post. You’ll save some time if you use a Housecarl or Gladiator to destroy the barricades blocking your path. You could also try sending a flying until to take on the enemy commander but be warned they are a ranged unit.

To begin the Blooming Rose on Bare Rock quest in Unicorn Overlord, head east from Vansberg Town and follow the road north. Speak with the Drakenhold Soldier guarding the gate who will then move to the side for you to pass. Do so to begin the quest.

After beginning the battle, a cutscene will trigger after which you’ll load into the battle stage. When you load in, your Command Post will be in the southern part of the stage with Giethe’s Command Post in the far northwestern part. In between you’ll have multiple forts, garrisons and towns filled with enemies that you’ll also have to contend with. In addition, you’ll also need to reach Virginia’s unit and speak with her using Josef. During this fight, waves of enemy reinforcements will also show up.
Be on the lookout for shiny objects on the ground throughout the battle stage. You’ll be able to receive the following items: Silver Hourglass, Giant’s Canopy and War Funds of 5000G.
Schwarthruse Town
This is the first town you’ll come to following the main path. There will be a Watchtower just before the town providing range support for enemies within the radius. On the far side of the town, there will be a catapult that you can commandeer.

How to Start The Battle for Vansberg Quest
To begin The Battle for Vansberg, approach Vansberg.
Battle Stage
For this battle, you’ll mostly be fighting Dark Knights and Hunters. Dark Knights are weak to flying foes, whereas, Hunters are weak to Fighters and Hoplites.
For this map, you’ll start in the southern part of the area and the Command Post is in the center. The big thing to note is that the Command Post is within range of 3 Watchtowers. Basically sent your main unit to deal with the Command Post while having your additional units take out the Watchtowers. As you approach the Command Post, you’ll notice steel traps everywhere and will need to use your Valor Skills to deal with them.

How to Start the Two Armies As One Quest
To begin, speak with the Liberation Knight southeast of Schaetze Town along the main road.

For this map, you’ll start in the southwestern corner with your victory conditions being in the northern part of the map. You’ll need to save the militia at the Bieljah Ruins and liberate the Command Post at the harbor. Between those two points will be a lot of enemies. You’ll also contend with geysers that will slow your movement and stun you for a couple of seconds if you get hit by them.
Be on the lookout for shiny objects on the ground throughout the battle stage. You’ll be able to receive the following items: Steel Trap, Conveyance Stone and Light Feather.
Vaiku Garrison
The garrison is located in the center of the canyon, so there are only two ways to reach it: the front and back. The entrance has a Gladiator bunkered down in a Manlet with a Wyvern Knight and Dark Knight unit for support. Also, it has geysers protecting its back so make sure they’re not going off when you pas by!

To begin The Battle for Schaetze in Unicorn Overlord, approach Schaetze Town in Drakenhold.
Battle Stage
For this stage, you’ll be fighting mainly Thieves and Wizards. Thieves are weak against Hunters and Swordfighters, whereas, Wizards are weak against Radiant Knights and Hunters.
For this map, you’ll need to take out the Command Post in the center of the area. Near your Command Post a Dark Knight will be posed to fight you. Just past him over the water is a unit of Wyvern Knights. On the sides of the enemy Command Post, there are units of Hunters and Wizards.
