Rune Factory 5 – Runic Disruption

Below is a walkthrough of the Runic Disruption main story event in Rune Factory 5.

 

Client: Livia

Location: Belpha Ruins (Recommended Level: 5)

Objective: Investigate the Belpha Ruins

 

Belpha Ruins B1

As part of the main story, Livia will tell your character to report to her office first thing in the morning. Doing so leads to a dialog event where you’ll be tasked with investigating the Belpha Ruins. When it ends, exit the Silo and head for the southcentral part of town towards the marker to arrive at the Belpha Ruins. Head inside the building and use the save point then follow the stairs down to officially enter the ruins. For this party, just follow the path dealing with the goblins along the way. Eventually, you get trapped in a room with some goblins. After you defeat them, there will be a small side room containing a chest. Grab the chest then head to the next room. Here you’ll have to run up a hallway while avoiding the giant rocks that roll down the middle. At the other end, there will be a chest next to the path to floor B2.

 

Belpha Ruins B2

Follow the path until you reach a room with some big bugs. Defeat them then activate the switch on the northwestern side of the room to cause the wall to drop. Continue following the path to reach the center of the floor. It consists of a narrow circular hallway with four small areas in each corner and the way forward in the northern part of the area. The way out is blocked by three walls that you’ll need to lower. You’ll also want to watch out for a rock ball that circles the hallway. In the northeastern area, you’ll find two chests, some ghost and fish enemies along with the pink switch. The southeastern area contains a single chest with the yellow switch and you can find the blue switch in the northeastern corner. It’s protected by a group of ghosts and there is also a chest there. After pressing all three switches, head north of the circular room to find the way to floor B3.

 

Belpha Ruins B3

Make sure to save and heal up if needed then proceed to the center of the room to trigger a dialog event. This will lead to a boss battle with the monster Cerberus. It uses lunge and swipe attacks with a magical ball thrown in. When its health gets low, it enrages and will start jumping up into the air. It also has a feint move where it pretends to be dead, but you can still hit it. When the monster is defeated, fast travel back to the Silo and report to Livia for a dialog event. The event completes after you go to sleep.

Below is a walkthrough of Priscilla’s Romance Stories in Rune Factory 5.

 

Gathering Mushrooms

Requirements: Friendship Level 2

Location: Eastern Gate of Rigbarth near Phoros Wooldands

Objective: Check on Priscilla

Head to the Eastern Gate of  Rigbarth to trigger a dialog event with Priscilla. After the event, travel to the Whispering Woods for another dialog event. Wait until the next day then travel to the Great Tree Plaza for another dialog event that will conclude the Gathering Mushrooms event.

 

Minor Event

Requirements: Complete previous event then wait a few days

Location: East of the Belpha Ruins

Objective: See where the noise is coming from

Head to the rock mountain east of the Belpha Ruins to trigger a single cutscene with Murakumo and Priscilla.

 

Like a Princess

Requirements: Previous Events and Friendship Level 4

Location: Great Tree Plaza

Objective: Join in on the conversation with Hina, Julian, Beatrice and Priscilla

Make your way to the Great Tree Plaza for a dialog event. When it ends, head to the Belpha Ruins for the 2nd dialog event with Priscilla and Reinhard. For the 3rd dialog event, travel to the clinic to save Julian from the evil Simone! Next stop by the Blue Moon where Princess Hina is being held for the 4th event. The last princess can be found at Studio Palmo where the 5th dialog event takes place. With all of the princesses saved, return to the Great Tree Plaza for the final dialog event.

Rune Switch: Weepwild Dankness

This rune switch can be found in the far northeastern corner of the area in Murphshire. To reach it on the upper platform, use the ladder on the south side of the platform.

Mara’s Lament

This scroll can be found at the end of a dock in the area just north of the Weepwild Dankness – Dank Encroachment fast travel point.

 

Fungal Fun Times

This scroll can be found on the deck of a house in the refugee camp on the eastern side of the map.

Lucky Dice 1

This dice can be found on the deck of a house in Old Murph’s Refugee Camp on the eastern side of the map.

 

Lucky Dice 2

This dice can be found in Old Murph’s Refugee Camp on the eastern side of the map. It’s located on a western ledge.

 

Lucky Dice 3

This dice can be found on a broken wooden bridge overlooking a chasm on the northeastern side of the Old Murph’s Refugee Camp on the eastern side of the map.

 

Lucky Dice 4

This dice can be found on the left side of the ruined building at the Snot’s Plot north of Old Murph’s Refugee Camp.

 

Lucky Dice 5

This dice can be found at the base of a waterfall in the central part of the map.

 

Lucky Dice 6

This dice can be found in the middle of a waterfall in the central part of the map.

 

Lucky Dice 7

From the above dice turn around and jump up onto the ledge on the right side. Once on the upper ledge, turn around and jump to the half mushroom jutting out of the cliff. Turn right to find some yellow paint on the cliff and jump to it.

From there, jump to the mushroom on the left side sticking out of the cliff to reach the dice.

 

Lucky Dice 8

This dice can be found in front of the hut on the little island in the far northeastern corner of the map. To reach it, you’ll have to use a mushroom to thrust you to it!

This dice can be found under a bridge along the river behind a hut.

 

Lucky Dice 10

This dice can be found on a ledge near where the Lake Lady awaits at her pond during A Knight’s Toil side quest.

 

Lucky Dice 11

This dice can be found on the side of a cliff on the western edge of the map.

 

Lucky Dice 12

This dice can be found on the western side of the area behind a hut.

 

Lucky Dice 13

This dice can be found in the center of the map.

 

Lucky Dice 14

This dice is resting on top of a cliff. During A Knight’s Toil side quest, you’ll have to find King Archer. Behind his castle, there will be a narrow ledge.

Walk across it then jump to the yellow painted ledge across the way. Head straight across then drop down onto a lower mushroom on the side of the cliff to retrieve the dice.

 

Lucky Dice 15

This dice can be found next to a stone bridge on the western side of the area.

 

Lucky Dice 16

This dice can be found on the side of a cliff. To reach it, you’ll have to head past where the Lost Marble is and follow the path, jumping across the mushrooms to reach it.

 

Lucky Dice 17

This dice can be found in the far northwestern corner on the southwestern side of the Ancient Obelisk.

 

Lucky Dice 18

This dice can be found in the northwestern corner of the map in front of a water wheel.

 

Lucky Dice 19

This dice can be found in the north central part of the map in a ruined stone building with a waterfall flowing through it.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – Shrine of Zoomios

Below is a walkthrough for the Shrine of Zoomios in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. You can find this shrine at the below location.

To complete this shrine, you’ll need to find 4 shrine pieces.

 

Shrine Piece 1

Complete the encounter at the below location to receive a shrine piece.

 

Shrine Piece 2 

To obtain this shrine piece, you’ll have to enter the below area which is in the very northern part of the map.

Once you do, you’ll have to fight 3 encounters back to back. The last one will be an ancient obelisk situation where the waves of enemies will keep spawning from the obelisk until finally an enemy called Bucket Head will spawn. Defeat all the enemies then loot the shrine piece.

 

Shrine Piece 3

To obtain this shrine piece locked away behind the gate, you’ll have to complete A Realm in Peril side quest. After the quest completes, the gate will open and you’ll be able to grab this shrine piece.

 

Shrine Piece 4

This piece will be obtainable after you complete the Alchemy: Miracle Growth side quest. With this area unblocked, you’ll be able to enter an encounter just northeast of the Weepwild Dankness map transition.

During the encounter, you’ll go through 3 waves of encounters the last of which will be an obelisk. When you complete it, you’ll receive the shrine piece.

Clear 3 camps in Overworld

Follow the objectives to all 3 camps and complete the encounters.

 

Talk to Knight Intern

Head slightly south of the Queen’s Gate map transition to find Knight Intern and speak with him to complete the quest.

Head inside the newly opened gate behind him to retrieve the Shrine Piece!

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – Cash 4 Teeth

Below is a walkthrough for the Cash 4 Teeth side quest in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. To obtain this quest, interact with the sign on the bridge in the central part of the Weepwild Dankness.

 

 

Meet Tooth Fairy in Weepwild Dankness

Travel to the objective to find the Tooth Fairy and speak with him.

 

Collect 5 teeth

Head nearby to find some skeletons. Make sure to melee one then collect 5 teeth.

 

Collect 32 teeth

Defeat more enemies and collect their teeth.

 

Investigate smell

Head towards the objective then defeat goblins until you collect 38 teeth.

 

Return to Tooth Fairy

Head back to the Tooth Fairy and speak with him.

 

Place teeth in chest

Place the teeth in the chest to the right of the Tooth Fairy.

 

Open chest

For the big reveal, open the chest.

 

Kill Mimic and Tooth Fairy

Defeat them to complete the quest.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland – Inner Daemons

Below is a walkthrough for the Inner Daemons side quest in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. You’ll automatically obtain this quest after completing the Lyre and Brimstone side quest.

 

Go to Brighthoof

Fast travel to Brighthoof and head to the object in the southeastern part of the area.

 

Talk to Zygaxis

Speak with the Imp.

 

Open the gate

Approach the gate and press square then quickly back up to avoid the trap.

 

Choose a sin: Con 3 townsfolk out of money or cut in line

We chose to knock on the 3 nearby doors marked by the objectives to con the townsfolk out of money. At the third door, an enemy will come out. Defeat him!

 

Chose a sin: Deface 3 buildings or play a prank

We chose to play a prank! If you play a prank, head to Izzy’s Frizzies then place a whoopy cushion on Ferdinand’s seat.

 

Choose a sin below: Kill annoying lovers or don’t keep off the grass

We chose the most despicable of the 2… don’t keep off the grass! 😀

 

Talk to Zygaxis

Speak with the Imp.

 

Melee gate

Approach the gate and melee it.

 

Explore alley

As you approach the locked door with a hidden switch, you’ll be tasked with opening it. Pull the lever on the ground a short ways in front of the door.

 

Search catacombs

Follow the path to reach a practice session.

 

Kill everything

Defeat all the enemies!

 

Pick up Shadeborne Grimoire

Pick up the item dropped by the enemies.

 

Find host for Zygaxis

Speak with a prisoner to complete the quest.

Below is a walkthrough for the Lyre and Brimstone side quest in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. To obtain this quest, interact with the help sign in the central eastern side of the area.

 

 

Talk to Sinistrella in the Weepwild Dankness

Follow the objective to Sinistrella in the northern part of the area near some vending machines and speak with Sinistrella.

 

Find the evil tree

Jump on the mushroom to the right of them and follow the path to reach the tree. Defeat the enemies.

 

Melee and collect 3 evil branches

Melee the tree and gather the branches that fall off.

 

Give evil wood to Talons of Boneflesh

Return to the band.

 

Turn off the speakers

Run to each of the 3 speakers while defeating the enemies that spawn.

 

Take spell recipe

Grab the spell.

 

Collect the Thoughts of a Tyrant, Craveness of a King and Vision of a Viscount

Make your way to the three objectives and defeat the enemies. Collect the items they drop then return to the band.

 

Put reagents in cauldron

Put the materials you collected into the cauldron then listen to the song.

 

Tell Talons of Boneflesh they win

Turn around and speak with Sinistrella.

 

Kill the Talons of Boneflesh

Defeat the band.

 

Talk to Zygaxis

Speak with the little Imp on the stage to complete the quest.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – Little Boys Blue

Talk to Murphetta in Weepwild Dankness

Take the path to the east towards the objective to find Murphetta behind a gate.

 

Find Old Murph

Head north into the refugee camp to find Old Murph.

 

Defend the Murph Camp

Defeat all the Smurfs that spawn.

 

Talk to Old Murph 

Speak with Murph on the deck of a house.

 

Check on Murphetta at Garglesnot’s Hut

Head north the Snot’s Plot to find the house.

 

Check the window

Look through the window to the right of the front door.

 

Defeat Blue Ones

Defeat the Smurfs.

 

Enter Garglesnot’s Hut

Head into the house.

 

Talk to College Murph

Speak with him.

 

Take magic formula

Grab the potion from the little pot behind College Murph.

 

Find eye of crab

Exit the house and head to the right to find Azabelle. Defeat her then grab her eye.

 

Find gills of mushroom

Travel to the southwest to find Rooftop. Defeat it then loot the Gills of Mushroom.

 

Find toenail of troll

Travel west to find Kate the Hate Troll. Defeat it then grab the Toenail of Troll.

 

Meet the Murphs at the forward camp

Head to the objective northeast as you approach enemies will spawn. Defeat the Smurfs!

 

Place ingredients in cauldron

Put the ingredients in the cauldron.

 

Take mushroom enhancement potion

Grab the potion from the ground.

 

Use potion on mushroom

Head to the nearby mushroom and interact with it then jump on it.

 

Open the gate

Once airborne, you’ll drift to the chain for the gate. Interact with the skull to open the gate then defeat the Smurfs that spawn.

 

Find Murphetta

Head to the objective to find Old Murph near a pond. Defeat the Smurfs that spawn then free Murphetta from the cage.

 

Defeat Garglesnot

He’ll spawn on Murphetta. Defeat the evil Garglesnot!

 

Talk to Murphetta

Speak with her to complete the quest.
