Mine 5 Silver Ore on the Snowpeak and 5 Gold Ore in The Lava Ruins
Silver Ore can be found in The Quarry at the Cavern signpost or in the Snowpeak in the second area right of Crest and Snow Wolf’s Edge. Gold Ore can be found in The Runebarrows at the Fishing Spot signpost or in The Lava Ruins. Once you’ve obtained all the ore, return to Squash on Second Street to complete the quest.

Find the Sigil
After defeating Hurstwine and his companions, head to the far right just before the next area to trigger a dialog event.
Head to the Sigil
When you’re ready, head right to the next area. Approach the ! in the middle of the area to trigger another dialog event. It will be followed immediately by a boss fight against the Sorcerer. After you defeat him the first time, a brief cutscene will trigger then round two will begin. This time, you’ll fight a giant blob on legs. I found this particular fight to be extremely annoying. There are 2 small platforms mid air that you can jump onto when it shows that the boss is weak. (The word “weak” will appear at the top of the screen in the middle.) The boss is only weak for a small window so make sure to do as much damage as possible when you can! After the dialog event that follows, you’ll have beat the game! Congratulations!!

Explore the Sorcerer’s Lab
Head right to the next area to trigger a dialog event. When it concludes proceed right to the next area. In this area, approach the ! in the middle of the bridge to trigger another dialog event. It will be followed immediately by a boss fight. Defeat Hurstwine and his companions to continue the dialog event. Afterwards, the quest will complete.

Return to your base and read the Diary
Travel to the Residential District and approach your base to trigger a dialog event.
Speak to Shiva in the Plaza
After the lengthy cutscene concludes, speak with Shiva in the Plaza.
Ask Tatara to repair the gear
Trave to Outlander Lane and speak with Tatara at the Smithy.
Head to the Clock Tower
Return to the clock tower in the Plaza to trigger a dialog event.
Find Awamuri
Travel to Outlander Lane and speak with Sarita at the Tavern. Next, travel to the Residential District Interior and speak with Preta. Afterwards, travel to The Rune Quarter and approach the barrel next to Mellore to trigger a dialog event.
Find the plumed individual
Travel to Second Street and speak with Squash.
Ask Tatara to repair the gear
Travel to Outlander Lane and speak with Tatara at the Smithy.
Tell Shiva the repairs are complete in the Plaza
Make your way to the Plaza and speak with Shiva. THIS IS THE POINT OF NO RETURN! You will not be able to return to town or use signposts from this point on! Speak with Shiva whenever you’re ready to continue with the story. After the dialog event, the quest will complete.

Once you’ve gathered 5 High-Purity Ore, return to Michele on Outlander Lane and speak with him to complete the quest.
