The Daedalian Keys side quest in Hogwarts Legacy becomes available during The Locket’s Secret main quest. Make your way to the Transfiguration Courtyard in the Astronomy Wing and speak to Nellie Oggspire to learn about the Daedalian Keys. She will then task you with finding one.

Find the Daedalian Key in the Astronomy Tower

Travel to the Astronomy Tower in the Astronomy Wing then had up the stairwell to the left of the Floo Flame to find the key. Approaching it will cause the key to take off. Give chase following the key into the Astronomy Classroom. It will then stop in front of a giant circular locked cabinet.

Interact with it to start a mini-game where you’ll need to slap the key as it passes over the keyhole. This will cause the door to unlock rewarding you with a House Token.

Return to Nellie with the Token

Take the token back to Nellie who will then send you to your house common room to insert the token into your house chest. Do so!

Find the remaining house tokens around Hogwarts

Once the first token has been inserted, you’ll need to search for the 15 remaining tokens!

The Astronomy Wing – Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom

Travel to the Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom Floo Flame then head down the nearby stairs to find the key between a rhino skeleton and globe.

Follow the key up the stairs then head straight ahead to find the cabinet against the wall past a group of students.

The Bell Tower Wing – Bell Tower Courtyard

From the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame, head up the flight of stairs to the southwest then go through the wooden door. Immediately take a left and head all the way down the stairs to find the key by the sleeping dragon statue.

Follow the key back up the stairs to the cabinet.

The Bell Tower Wing – Dungeon

From the sleeping dragon statue mentioned in the above key, follow the path east to reach a locked room surrounded by stacked cauldrons. Turn right to continue a short way down the hallway to find the key.

Follow the key through the barrel room to find the cabinet.

The Bell Tower Wing – Bell Tower Courtyard

From the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame, head up the flight of stairs to the southwest then go through the door. Head up the flight of stairs to find the key to the left of the statue on a green background by a knight in shining armor.

Follow the key all the way up the stairs to find the cabinet at the top.

The Grand Staircase – Ravenclaw Tower

From the Ravenclaw Tower Floo Flame, head east towards the moving staircase. Take the stairs up a flight of stairs to find the key.

Follow the key down 3 flights of stairs to find this cabinet next to a puzzle door.

The Grand Staircase – Quad Courtyard

From the Quad Courtyard Floo Flame, head south passing a serpent water fountain and go all the way up the stairs on the left. The key can be found just before an arch.

Follow the key all the way down the stairs you just came up. At the serpent fountain, head northwest along the path between the stairs to find a wooden door. To the right of this door at the base of some stairs you’ll find the cabinet.

The Great Hall – The Great Hall

Travel to the Great Hall to find a key by the fireplace.

Follow it to a cabinet on the landing of the stairs heading up on the northwest side of the room.

Travel to the Great Hall Floo Flame then head north through all the sets of doors until you reach a staircase leading down. The key can be found here!

Follow the key down the stairs and to the right to locate the cabinet.

The Library Annex – Central Hall

Travel to the Central Hall Floo Flame. Once you head in, head all the way down the stairs and take a right. Go down the set of stairs and at the green door take a left. The key can be found just before the archway.

Follow the key back up the stairs and head straight across, passing the mermaid fountain and down a set of stairs. At the bottom take a right to find the cabinet next to a puzzle door.

The Library Annex – Central Hall

From the Central Hall Floo Flame, travel up 3 flights of stairs. At the top, take a right to find the key under that set of stairs leading up.

Follow the key back down one flight of stairs then look to the right to find the cabinet.

The Library Annex – Potions Classroom

From the Potions Classroom Floo Flame, head east and go through the wooden doors. On the other side you’ll find the key!

Follow the key down the stairs to reach the cabinet at the end of the hallway.

The Library Annex – Library

On the first floor of the library, look to the right of the fireplace to find the key amongst the bookshelves.

Follow the key to the cabinet on the north side of the room.

The South Wing – Hospital Wing

From the Hospital Wing Floo Flame (which is accessible after learning the Alohomora spell during The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament main quest), take the nearby stairs down one flight of stairs. Head straight across the floor to spot more stairs to the right of the statue. Go down 4 flights of stairs to reach an area with hot air balloons and a puzzle door. The key can be found in front of the puzzle door.

Follow the key down 2 flights of stairs. When you reach the bottom, take an immediate right to find the cabinet.

The South Wing – Clock Tower Courtyard

From the Clock Tower Courtyard Floo Flame, head under the swinging pendelum towards the exit leading outside. On the left just before the exit, you’ll spot a locked door. Use Alohomora to open it then head all the way up the stairs. Follow the walkway to reach the key.

Follow the key up the stairs. When you emerge at the top, take a left to find the cabinet.

The South Wing – Clock Tower Courtyard

From the above cabinet, continue heading up the stairs in the clock tower. Just before you reach the last set of stairs leading up, take the flight of stairs down. There will be a hallway with a bunch of portraits to your left. The key can be found at the start of this hallway.

Follow the key down the hallway. The cabinet will be to the right of the Prefects’ Bathroom next to a statue.

Deposit Tokens in House Chest

Return to your common room and place all the tokens in your House Chest. As a reward you’ll receive a Relic House Uniform appearance! Return to Nellie in the Transfiguration Courtyard and speak with her to complete the quest.
