How to start the A Light in the Darkness Mission
To start the A Light in the Darkness mission, speak with Tommy Bitlow in the Spaceport on New Atlantis near the entrance to Pad A. He’ll run up to you and ask if you’ll report to Nadia Muffaz to provide your insight on the attack on Vectera.
Starfield A Light in the Darkness Mission Guide
Talk to Nadia Muffaz
To reach Nadia, head over to the NAT and take it to the Commercial District. Once there, take a left and head up a ramp near Terrabew Coffee. Take another left at the and you’ll see SSNN straight ahead.
Make your way there then head inside. Nadia will be sitting behind a white table on the right side of the building.
Deliver News About the Vectera Mining Attack
Speak with Nadia and exhaust her dialog options saying her intern asked us to stop by and be interviewed when available. You’ll then be able to tell her about the Crimson Fleet attack. Fill in the details however you see fit. She’ll then pay you and ask that you report any other worthwhile stories to her. As a reward, you’ll receive 50 EXP and some credits. Afterwards, occasionally check back in with Nadia to obtain new missions for finding new stories for SSNN. They will all revolve around completing each faction questline or future main story missions.

You’ll need to report additional news stories to Nadia if you want to complete this mission. Listed below are quests you’ll need to complete to get those stories. After reporting each one, you’ll get EXP and credits!
