Below is a walkthrough for the Level 25 side quest called Need to Know. You’ll obtain this quest automatically after completing The Burning Blooms side quest. You won’t be able to continue this quest until after you unlock the base as part of the story.
Talk to Talanah at the Oseram Camp
Travel south and slightly west of the base to find Camp Nowhere and speak with Talanah.
Meet Talanah North of Thornmarsh
Travel to the far southwestern coast to find Talanah north of Thornmarsh and speak with her.
Follow Talanah
Follow behind her.
Kill the Fireclaw
Defeat the machine!
Talk to Amadis and Talanah
Speak with the pair on the road.
Follow Amadis
Follow behind the pair along the road.
Find an Entrance to the Rot
Swim around the ocean to the back of the Rot to find a beach where there is an opening in the ruins.
Open the Gate for Talanah and Amadis
Sneak around to the front of the ruins to locate the gate and turn the where to open it.
Kill the enemies
Defeat all the enemies inside the ruins.
Kill the Tideripper
Defeat the machine!
Talk to Talanah
Speak with her near the prisoners in the Rot to complete the quest.
