Triangle Strategy Chapter III – Main Story
Encampment
The chapter begins with a cutscene on Whiteholm Bridge (Castle). Once it ends, you’ll return to the world map. Before advancing the main story, consider visiting the Encampment:
- Mental Mock Battles: Speak with the Tavern Owner to unlock training skirmishes where you can gain XP and strengthen your units.
- Sundry Shop: Use Kudos to purchase skills, upgrades, or notes.
Whiteholm Castle
When ready, select Whiteholm Castle to trigger another cutscene. Here, you’ll be introduced to the Scales of Conviction, a system where Serenoa must persuade his companions toward a chosen path. Your persuasion success depends heavily on Serenoa’s convictions. At this point in the game, a balanced conviction build (along with thorough exploration and completed battles) helps maximize influence.
After finishing all conversations, interact with the Scales to begin the vote, which decides whether the party travels to Hyzante or Aesfrost. Each destination opens unique recruitment opportunities in Part 2:
- Hyzante: Recruit a Frost Mage.
- Aesfrost: Recruit a Hunter.
Recruitment eligibility depends on Serenoa’s convictions, so choices may not always succeed on the first playthrough. Once the majority has chosen, Part 1 of Chapter 3 concludes.
Conviction Choices by Character
This section provides a list of each eligible companion for this vote, along with their preferences and persuasion dialogue options. If a companion prefers the same choice as you, there is no need to discuss it, as they will naturally vote in agreement. If you want to change their mind, engage in conversation with them and select any of the available options. You can choose multiple options, and you’ll also unlock a third option based on the intelligence you gathered in the last chapter.
