Below is a walkthrough on The Knick side quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. To obtain this quest, speak with Ferenc on the roof near the Forsaken Store in the Lower Dam Ayre.
Find the pacemaker in the GRE quarantine zone
Travel nearby to the GRE quarantine zone. Enter the building then work your way down 3 floors to find an Authorized Personnel Only door. Use your GRE key on the door to unlock it then defeat the enemies inside. Crawl through the hole in the wall or kick down the wooden boards blocking a doorway to reach the adjacent room then loot the pacemaker from the bookshelf.
Bring the pacemaker back to the surgeon
Return to Ferenc and speak with him to complete the request.
