Welcome to our walkthrough for Mission 8: Arezu’s Predicament in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. In this mission, you’ll venture into the Crimson Mirelands to assist Arezu and investigate the frenzy of Lilligant, the Lady of the Ridge. Along the way, you’ll team up with Volo, recover a stolen artifact, battle fierce Pokémon, and gain the ability to ride Ursaluna. Mission 8: Arezu’s Predicament Walkthrough
Objectives
- Follow Arezu to the commander’s office
- Head to the Solaceon Ruins to meet Calaba

Walkthrough Arezu’s Predicament
Follow Arezu to the commander’s office
Enter Galaxy Hall and head up to the third floor. Approach Commander Kamado to trigger a cutscene.
Meet Calaba at the Solaceon Ruins in the Crimson Mirelands
Go to the village gate for a cutscene and battle against Akari/Rei, who uses a level 19 Mime Jr. and a level 20 Pikachu. After the fight, you’ll receive the recipe for Stealth Sprays and some information about space-time distortions.
Talk to Ress to travel to the Crimson Mirelands, then head east from the Mirelands Camp to reach the Solaceon Ruins. Enter the ruins and interact with the center to trigger a battle with Volo. Defeat his level 22 Togepi and level 22 Gible. He’ll heal your Pokémon afterward and ask for help retrieving a stolen Wall Fragment.
Reclaim the stolen Wall Fragment from the bandits
Travel northeast to the Golden Lowlands and look for an abandoned campsite. Interact with it to begin a cutscene and a battle against a level 23 Toxicroak. After you win, you’ll recover the Wall Fragment.
Return the Wall Fragment to Calaba
Go back to the Solaceon Ruins. Speak with Volo to trigger a cutscene, then hand the fragment to Calaba in the back of the ruins.
Head to Sludge Mound to confront Ursaluna
Travel south of Bogbound Camp to reach the Sludge Mound. Speak with Calaba at the battle circle on the east side to trigger a battle with a level 26 Ursaluna. After winning, you’ll receive the Earth Plate and gain the ability to ride Ursaluna and dig for treasure.
Report to Kamado about Ursaluna
Return to camp and talk with Professor Laventon. Then head back to Jubilife Village, enter Galaxy Hall, and report to Commander Kamado on the third floor.
Use Ursaluna to find Arezu in the Crimson Mirelands
Travel back to the Crimson Mirelands. Ursaluna will pick up Arezu’s scent. Follow the blue signal trail to find her between the Solaceon Ruins and the Scarlet Bog. Approach her to trigger a cutscene.
Calm the frenzied Lilligant at Brava Arena
Head toward Brava Arena via the Diamond Settlement, Diamond Heath, and Cloudpool Ridge. At the arena, climb the stairs to trigger a cutscene and start the boss fight against a level 30 Lilligant.
Dodge her shockwave attacks and throw Marsh Balm to weaken her. After stunning her, battle using your Pokémon. Repeat this cycle until she calms down. You’ll receive the Meadow Plate as a reward.
Report to Commander Kamado
Return to the Mirelands Camp for a scene with Volo, then speak with Professor Laventon to return to Jubilife Village. Head to Galaxy Hall and report to Commander Kamado to complete the mission.
