How to Start the Witch’s Word Quest
To begin The Witch’s Word main quest in Unicorn Overlord, you’ll first need to complete the Vile Desecration main quest.
Battle Prep Phase
For this battle, you’ll mainly be facing Dark Marquess, Elven Fencer and Elven Archer enemies so plan your units accordingly.

Battle Stage
When you load into the map, you’ll notice that this time we have two Command Posts, one on the eastern side of the map and the other on the southern. Alcina will be stationed at the Southern Nasthirion Gate on the western side of the area. You’ll also notice that this map is quite large and that there are quite a few locations to liberate! In order to defeat Alcina, you’ll need to defeat all 3 gates! For defeating her, you’ll receive a Carnelian Pendant.
Be on the lookout for shiny objects on the ground throughout the battle stage. You’ll be able to receive the following items: Steel Trap and Healing Tonic (M).
Palanspelt Palace
The Palanspelt Palace can be found in the southwestern corner of the area and has a catapult near it.
Rokkil Garrison
Directly to the west of the above palace, you’ll find this garrison with a ballista next to it. A nearby enemy archer unit will provide ranged support. The enemy commander is also an archer!
Southern Nasthirion Gate
This gate is protected by Alcina, who provides magick assist.
Kolbatzat Garrison
This garrison can be found directly west of your eastern Command Post. It’s protected by a watchtower on both sides. The eastern watchtower provides magick assist and the western watchtower provides ranged assist. There is also a ballista here!
Eastern Nasthirion Gate
Two watchtowers guard this gate along with a unit of Elven Fencers to provide magick support.
Fort Kolmerengas
This fort can be found north of the above gate and is controlled by an Elven Fencer.
Northern Nasthirion Gate
Initially, this gate will have nothing protecting it.

For completing The Witch’s Word in Unicorn Overlord, you’ll receive the following rewards:

- Idealist’s Handmirror
