Zubamon Overview (In-Game Profile)

Zubamon is one of the Legend-Arms that can transform its body into a weapon. The fabled Legend-Arms are said to be capable of either saving the world in the hands of an angel, or destroying it in the hands of a devil. Zubamon possesses the data of the Twentiest, and often shouts “I am the Twentiest!” without knowing what that means.

It dislikes anything warped or twisted and is in constant pursuit of its ideal of sharpness. In battle and in jest, it’s always trying to look sharp, and days when it succeeds put in a good mood. Though it has its Twenty Dive attack that involves rushing headlong at an enemy, Zubamon’s true strength lies in its weapon form.

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.

Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.

De-Digivolution

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
