How to Start The Handy Ma-non Mission
To begin The Handy Ma-non mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, speak with Sostenasa in NLA’s Administrative District. This quest becomes available after completing Chapter 5, and the recommended level for this mission is 22.
The Handy Ma-non Walkthrough
You agree to assist the stubborn Ma-non mechanic Sostenasa with his work.
Gather 5 pieces of Stripped Plating & 3 Quality Fuses from Pugiliths in Oblivia
Pugiliths can be found at Mesa Fortress in the southwestern part of Oblivia. A Level 22 Sword Pugilith (which is much lower than the Level 28 in this area) can be found if you fast travel to the Mesa Fortress Landmark then head northwest and cross the bridge. On the other side, stick to the ledge to find it walking around. Keep defeating Pugiliths until you receive 5 Stripped Plating and 3 Quality Fuses. If you need to respawn the Pugiliths, fast travel!
Talk to Sostenasa
Return to Sostenasa to deliver the items.
Gather 1 unit of Honey Oil from a Copper Cinicula
You’ll find the Level 23 Copper Ciniculas near Sickle Rock Rise, which is northeast of NLA.
Gather Windshield Glass from Primordia’s East Gate Plain
Travel to FN Site 116 then head north to find the Windshield Glass at a vehicle wreckage.
Talk to Sostenasa
Return to Sostenasa to deliver the items. The Handy Ma-non mission will then end.

As a reward for completing The Handy Ma-non mission, you’ll receive the following:
