How to Start the Planetary Pioneer (Part I) Mission
To begin the Planetary Pioneer (Part I) mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, speak with Kirsty in NLA’s Administrative District. This quest becomes available at the beginning of Chapter 4, and the recommended level for this mission is 10.
Planetary Pioneer (Part I) Walkthrough
Continue the survey of Primordia using FrontierNav.
Complete “Primordia Trailblazing 1”
For the Primordia Trailblazing 1 mission, you’ll need to give Kirsty 750 units of miranium.
Complete “Primordia Trailblazing 2”
For the Primordia Trailblazing 2 mission, you’ll need to defeat five Juvenile Simius in Primordia during the day. You’ll find them in the East Gate Plain just east of FN Site 116.
Complete “Primordia Trailblazing 3”
For the Primordia Trialblazing 3 mission, you’ll need to obtain the data unit FN093 in Primordia’s Green Threshold.
The Green Threshold can be found west of the Biahno Grasslands. To reach this area avoiding the high-level enemies on the bridge, follow Biahno Lake north. To head up the river, you’ll need to climb up the ledges lining the water. To jump higher, sprint then press the jump button.
Once there, activate the probe then look on the hill north of the probe for a red object on the ground.
Talk to Kirsty
Report back to Kirsty in the Administrative District. The Planetary Pioneer (Part I) mission will end.

As a reward for completing the Planetary Pioneer (Part I) mission, you’ll receive the following:
- Experience x140
- Reward Money x7,000
- Booster Probe G1
- Glasses
