How to Start the Fitting In Affinity Mission
In Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, affinity and main story missions are unique in that you can only undertake one at a time. If you begin an affinity mission, you won’t be able to start a main story mission, and vice versa. Furthermore, you can only have one affinity or story mission active at any given time.
The Fitting In affinity mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition can be found in NLA’s Industrial District. The recommended level for this mission is 46 and the required level is 46. To begin this mission, you must complete Chapter 11, the “BFFs” affinity mission, and obtain the Skell flight module. The primary destination is Oblivia. The required affinity with Celica is Rank 3.
Fitting In Overview
Just as Celica and Rock seemed to be slowly getting used to life in NLA, trouble occurred.
Objectives
- Check the situation at the construction site in the industrial district
- Search for information about aerozium in the commercial district
- Talk to Mujiji at Oblivia’s Dorian Caravan
- Head to Oblivia’s Floating Reef and find four pieces of aerozium
- Defeat the stratospheric balaena on Oblivia’s Floating Reef
- Talk to Rock in the industrial district
Fitting In Walkthrough
At the start of the mission, approach Rock and speak with him to trigger a cutscene. After you learn what is troubling him, travel to the Nopon Bazaar in the northeastern corner of the Commercial District.
Next, travel to the Dorian Caravan in Lake Basel and speak with Mujiji.
Afterward, hop in your Skell and fly to the island in the sky on the northeastern side of the lake.
Once at the top, fight the Sluggish Saltat then collect the red shiny objects on the ground. As soon as you loot the items, Stratospheric Balaena will appear and you’ll need to take it down.
After it has been defeated, return to Rock in the Industrial District. The Fitting In affinity mission will end with the conclusion of the cutscene!
