How to Start the Boze’s Ignorance Affinity Mission
In Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, affinity and main story missions are unique in that you can only undertake one at a time. If you begin an affinity mission, you won’t be able to start a main story mission, and vice versa. Furthermore, you can only have one affinity or story mission active at any given time.
The Boze’s Ignorance affinity mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition can be found in NLA’s Administrative District. The recommended level for this mission is 46 and the required level is 37. To begin this mission, you must complete Chapter 9 and the “Prone Sweet Prone” mission. The primary destination is Cauldros. The required affinity with Boze is Rank 4.
Boze’s Ignorance Overview
A number of Pathfinders have been attacked by a particularly aggressive indigen. Team up with Boze to defeat it.
Objectives
- Head to Cauldros’s Infernal Ledges and take down the indigen known as Trigger Scintimure
- Defeat ST816: Stalio in Cauldros’s Infernal Ledges
- Defeat Trigger Scintimure in Cauldros’s Infernal Ledges
- Talk to Eleanor’s at the BLADE Concourse on the administrative district
Boze’s Ignorance Walkthrough
Once you’ve accepted the mission, travel to Dorongo Caravan in Cauldros and head north. You’ll need your follow a path leading down near the level to find the entrance to the Infernal Ledges. Head through the tunnel until you reach the Prone, triggering a cutscene.
This will lead to a battle against the level 44 ST816L Stalio. Defeat her then continue heading west through the Infernal Ledges. Near the depths, you’ll run into the target, a Trigger Scintimure.
Once you’ve defeated it, return to NLA and speak with Eleonora in the Administrative District. This will trigger one final cutscene that concludes with the mission completing.

As a reward for completing the Boze’s Ignorance affinity mission, you’ll receive the following:

- New Cylinder
