How to Start the BFFs Affinity Mission
In Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, affinity and main story missions are unique in that you can only undertake one at a time. If you begin an affinity mission, you won’t be able to start a main story mission, and vice versa. Furthermore, you can only have one affinity or story mission active at any given time.
The BFFs affinity mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition can be found in NLA’s BLADE Barracks. The recommended level for this mission is 25 and the required level is 22. To begin this mission, you must complete Chapter 5. The primary destinations are Noctilum and Oblivia.
BFFs Walkthrough
Convince the Nopon to sign a friendship treaty that welcomes them to NLA.
Head to Noctilum’s Dodonga Caravan and get a signature
Travel to the Whale’s Nostril in Noctilum to find the camp inside and approach it to trigger a cutscene.
Next, travel east of FN Site 209 to find Koko with a monster near the shore. Approach them to trigger another cutscene leading to a fight against a Level 25 Agile Caecus.
After defeating the monster, speak with Koko on the beach, and she’ll sign the agreement.
Head to Oblivia’s Dorian Caravan and get a signature
Travel to Dorian Caravan at Lake Basel in Oblivia. As you approach the group of Nopon by the tree, a cutscene will trigger. During this cutscene, you’ll have to pay 30,000 credits no matter what option you picked.
After you pay the credits, Mujiji will sign the contract.
Report back to Commander Vandham
Travel to the BLADE Barracks and speak with Commander Vandham to complete the BFFs mission.
Completion Rewards
As a reward for completing the BFFs affinity mission, you’ll receive the following:
- Experience x240
- Reward Money x15,000
