How to Start the A False Hope Affinity Mission
In Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, affinity and main story missions are unique in that you can only undertake one at a time. If you begin an affinity mission, you won’t be able to start a main story mission, and vice versa. Furthermore, you can only have one affinity or story mission active at any given time.
The A False Hope affinity mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition can be found in NLA’s Administrative District. The recommended level for this mission is 26 and the required level is 24. To begin this mission, you must complete Chapter 5. The primary destination is Primordia. The required affinity with Hope is Rank 2.
A False Hope Walkthrough
Multiple BLADE members are missing, and the victims all seem to be associated with Hope somehow. Work with her to unravel the mystery.
Gather intel on the disappearances from the Commercial District
Travel to the Central Melville Street landmark in the Commercial District.
Once there, travel to the southeastern corner of the search area at the intersection to find the yellow conversation bubble.
Ask Ada
Travel to the Administrative District and speak with Ada in the Hangar.
Meet Ada at Primordia’s South Janpath Plain between 0:00 and 5:00
Travel to the South Janpath Plain east of NLA between 0:00 and 5:00 and speak with Ada next to the pond to trigger a cutscene.
After the cutscene, you’ll engage in a fight with Level 26 Jisanne and a group of Level 20 Milsaadi Destroyers. Take them all out to continue with the cutscene. When it ends, so will the A False Hope mission.
Completion Rewards
As a reward for completing the A False Hope affinity mission, you’ll receive the following:
- Experience x230
- Reward Money x13,000
- Knife Art “Secondary Speed”
